    Hi Everyone,

VS Park is a high-tech sports arcade with obstacle courses for each game. It was opened by Namco, one of the largest gaming centre companies in Japan. It has many interactive games and challenges designed for physical activity, friendly competition, and loads of laughter. We’ve been to a few in Osaka and Tokyo. It is a great option when the weather isn’t favourable for an outdoor day.

The entry price ranges from a few hours to a full day of action. We paid for two hours, which was just over $100AUD. From memory, a full day's price was a little more than we paid. We were then given hand bands to indicate what level of payment we paid for so staff around the centre would know how to assist us if we had any questions.

As we all had different opinions on the games we wanted to play, we first agreed to play them together and then split playing the ones we liked. Some games have age/height restrictions, so that is something to be aware of when choosing games.

Games like rock climbing, squash, swimming, archery, and soccer are all available and can be done individually. Animal Chase is our favourite game. This game will have you racing against animated animals on a giant screen you have chosen or randomly chosen for you. Whether it’s a cheetah or a dinosaur, you’ll find yourself sprinting full speed while everyone cheers for you.

Before visiting, make sure you wear comfortable clothing and sports shoes. Try to go on a weekday for fewer crowds, you wouldn’t want to be lining up all day. Go in a small group of people, loads of fun while playing with friends and family. Lastly, have a big meal beforehand and remember to keep hydrated, you will need lots of energy for all the activities around the park. This is a place where we will be back again especially when the weather isn’t great for outdoor activities, this place is the best for our boys to release their energy.
