Every thing starst with a small sketch first. Once I was satisfied with the sketch, I did the line work. The fine lining of the whole sketch.
I first worked on the hair by choosing bright blue to represent something below sea level. That was rather fun coloring in the hair. Then I continued with coloring my skin, I chose the colors to be more tender and warm in comparison to the cool blue of her hair. Next, I did the outfit. I gave her an outfit that's colored to go in line with an ocean theme. I colored Miu gray so that he stands out yet fits into the general color scheme.
