While everyone is focused on Bitcoin and the Bull Amrket, it is possible to miss things, and one of them is the explosion of the security token market.
Vitalic Buterin, the founder and creator of Ethereum, the Ethereum Virtual Machine and Smart COntracts on a blockchain is also famous for saying:

I have always been enamoured with tokenization, securitization and the biggest positive that security tokens bring to our everyday lives transparency, bigger markets and better pricing, and the biggest one I think, unlocking equity in iliquid assets like real estate and art.
A beautiful illustration of the value of one aspect of tokenization; fractional ownership, is demonstrated by the extremely successful web 2.0 version of asset tokenization, called the Masterworks Investment Fund.
This fund has attracted millions of dollars of investment capitol , and it's main selling point is that it allows people to buy shares or fractions of famous art pieces.

I think we sometimes forget that stable coins are the original tokenized real world asset. While most people think of gold, diamonds, art and real estate as real wprld assets who can benefit from being tokenized, so people can buy fractions and diversify their asset investments, they forget dollars.
Ironically dollars are a fiat currency, but because the dollar os the global currency of trade and the currency you need to buy oil, and the rate of dollar inflation is historiocally lower then most other currencies, people treat it as an asset and buy it with their currencies to preserve their buying power, while still being able to easily use it to purchase goods and services. Because in most countries you can buy goods and services with both your native currency and with dollars. Ironically the dollar is so successful as a global currency, that more dollars exist outside the United States of America, then inside the USA.

Blackrock launched a US Treasury Bond INvestment Fund containing 100 Million dollars worth of tokenized US Treasuries, one of the most popular asset investments in the world, held by practically every nation state central bank in the world.
Meanwhile stories of token funds producing security tokens are released all over the world from France, Switzerland, Estonia, Dubai, Abu Dabi, Singapore and Australia.
The amazing proliferation of tokenized investment funds, tokenized real estate projects, and tokenized art investment funds so far in the first quarter of 2024 suggests to many Security Token Afficianados that 2024 may indeed be the year of tokenization.
