Xian is the capital of the province of Shaanxi. But it's not only in modern day China it has served as the capital. During a period over 4000 years it was once the capital of 11 dynasties. This photo shows part of modern Xian, seen from the city wall. This wall is still intact. The lenght is 14 kilometers. When it's open, you can walk on the wall, or do like we did – renting a bicycle. It is a great way to see the city from another angle. This photo is my entry to @photofeed contest https://ecency.com/hive-153349/@photofeed/photofeed-contest-cityscape-photography-round-94
