VIMM.TV Domain Update: First Step Toward Open Source Framework 🚀

I wanted to let everyone know that vimm.tv has been updated to point to the new framework landing page. This is my first small step as I begin transitioning VIMM into an open-source streaming framework for the Hive ecosystem.

    What's New?

The landing page introduces the vision for the framework and provides:

    • An overview of the planned streaming framework
    • Planned features and capabilities
    • Information about existing Hive streaming projects
    • Links to the GitHub repositories
    • Details about the DHF proposal (#320)

I'll be updating the landing page regularly as I make progress on the framework's codebase, adding documentation, guides, and resources as they become available.

    Note About VIMM 2.0 Prototype

For those who were using or testing the VIMM 2.0 prototype, it remains accessible at https://vimm-project.onrender.com/ for now. However, please note that this prototype will be taken offline soon as I focus on developing the open-source framework.

If you enjoyed the platform, I highly recommend checking out @Dagamers. It's everything that the prototype was, but with added gamification features that make the streaming experience much more engaging and fun. I'll also be collaborating with @foreveraverage on some upcoming features for the platform.

    What's Next

This is just an initial step. The real work begins with the development of the core framework, which will include:

    • Core streaming server implementation
    • WebRTC and HLS capabilities
    • Hive blockchain integration
    • Authentication systems
    • Stream metadata management
    • Comprehensive documentation

    Get Involved
