Hello Hive friends and Fellow Saturday Savers!
Another week has passed, and it's time for my second Saturday Savers Club Update of 2025! It's been a hectic week with work commitments, bot-related challenges (check out my post on that here: The Hive Tipping Bot Chronicles), and some strategic adjustments in my second-layer token investments. Let’s dive into the progress and challenges from the past week.
🚀 Weekly Progress (Week 2)
Hive Power (HP):
- Last Week: 8090 HP
- This Week: 8138 HP
- Increase: +48 HP
- Target Weekly Increase: +145 HP
- Performance: Fell short by -97 HP, so I’ll need to step up my game this week.
HBD Savings:
- Last Week: 1316 HBD
- This Week: 1332 HBD
- Increase: +16 HBD
📈 Second-Layer Token Growth
- EDSI: 26 (+1)
- Slow but steady growth, aided by EDS-D distributions.
- BBHO: 2985 (+104)
- Great growth here; BBHO is one of the few areas where I’m seeing significant progress.
- BXT: 192 (unchanged - Normally use the generated Swap.Hive for this)
- LEO: 208 (+8)
- Steady increase in LEO holdings, aiming to build this up further.
🪙 Key Updates
DRIP Unstaking:
- After the decision to stop distributing swap.hive, I’ve begun unstaking my DRIP tokens. DRIP no longer aligns with my growth strategy, and I’m redirecting these resources into Diesel Pools and more promising second-layer tokens.
Bots in Focus:
- Continued work on the tipping bots, which took up a significant portion of my time. While the bots are operating better, and produce more value and less comment-spam, the behind-the-scenes work left less time for active Hive engagement.
Strategic Shifts:
- Exploring alternative strategies for Layer 2 growth, as suggested by my good friend @tydynrain. Diesel Pools are looking increasingly attractive, and I’m considering shifting more resources here.
📝 Plans for the Coming Week
Catch Up on HP Growth:
- This week’s HP growth was disappointing, so I’ll focus on posting more consistently and reallocating resources to power up.
Expand Layer 2 Tokens:
- Continue building BBHO and LEO holdings while developing a more concrete strategy for BXT and EDSI.
Refine Strategies for Diesel Pools:
- Identify high-value pools and adjust my holdings to maximize returns. Suggestions that I received (and have started looking into) are:

- SWAP.HIVE:PWR
- DVS:DHEDGE

🏁 Final Thoughts
While this past week’s progress fell short in some areas, I’m optimistic about the path forward. The start of the year is always a time of adjustment, and with a clearer focus on strategies that work, I’m confident in catching up and hitting my goals.
