I am very surprised that when Bitcoin pumps, all altcoins dump, and when Bitcoin dumps, all altcoins also dump. It seems like the fate of investors is such that every time they plan to invest, the market crashes.
The main surprise is that only altcoins dump, while Bitcoin maintains its position. What are the reasons for this, and what will happen in the nearest future, will discuss in this post.
All analysts say that the flow of money greatly affects altcoins, and I completely agree with that. But the question arises when Bitcoin dominance is in a stable position, neither rising nor falling, yet altcoins are dumping.
One of the major reasons is the war of technology. We saw that the new Deepseek AI platform was launched, and it had a significant effect on the market. Another news is that January is closing, and at the end of every month, the market tends to go negative.
Apart from this, FOMO is created that Chinese narratives only pump, causing people to panic and withdraw their investments or invest in Chinese narrative coins.
I have no doubt that Chinese coins are pumping, and certainly, investor attraction is leaning towards them. But the main question is whether we are actually in an altseason or if our investments are stuck.
This is the crypto market, and anything is possible, but this thing should be kept in mind that the timing of the crypto cycle is tricky. The year 2025 is expected to be bullish for crypto, and it is predicted that we might be in an altseason, or at least there are higher chances.
When the last months of 2025 begin, the caution is that selling should start because there is a possibility that the next bear cycle will start. Therefore, one year from now, we should focus on recovery or taking profits.
