For some time now it has been too therapeutic for me to go for a coffee with one of my best friends, Mariajose. Our goal is to try all the restaurants and cafes in the Sambil de la Candelaria, a shopping centre just across the street from where we train; and this time, I want to tell you about two places in particular that we liked a lot.
Desde hace un tiempito es demasiado terapéutico para mi ir a tomar cafecito con una de mis mejores amigas, Mariajose. Tenemos de meta probar todos los restaurantes y cafeterías del Sambil de la Candelaria, un C.C que queda Justo al frente de donde entrenamos; y en esta ocasión, quiero hablarles de dos sitios en particular que nos ha gustado bastante.
The first one I'm going to tell you about is Coffee Roll, it was our most recent visit and so far it is positioned as our best coffee shop in the mall. It is not exactly in the fair, the place is in a corner in one of the aisles of shops, the smell calls you when you walk there; that day we went there I was feeling a little bad, and my friend as always beautiful and attentive invited me the coffee to help me feel better, and clearly it was logró🙏🏽. The place is small but very nice and pretty. They keep an office type decoration, without any kind of screens, plants and music at a good volume, which gives you a complete experience (yes, I pay attention to all those details, even the bathroom is super nice, hahahah).
The prices are quite affordable, in fact, a bit cheaper than the second option I will give you; and as for the taste of the coffee, it is extremely delicious. On this occasion Maríajose went for an Italian Cappuccino and I went for a Vanilla Latte, they also gave us some complimentary biscuits that made us happy, we really enjoyed our coffee😍. Oh, and another interesting thing about this place, is that after you pay they give you a little device that rings when your order is ready to go and pick it up. I got really excited when it rang, it made me anxious hahaha😅.
Del primero que les voy a hablar es Coffee Roll, fue nuestra más reciente visita y hasta ahora está posicionada como nuestra mejor cafetería del centro comercial. No queda exactamente en la feria, el local está en una esquina en uno de los pasillos de tiendas, el olor te llama cuando caminas por allí; ese día que fuimos yo me sentía un poco mal, y mi amiga como siempre bella y atenta me invitó el cafecito para ayudarme a sentir mejor, y claramente lo logró🙏🏽. Es pequeño el local pero muy agradable y lindo. Mantienen una decoración tipo de oficina, sin ningún tipo de pantallas, plantas y música muy de ese ambiente a un buen volumen, que te regala una completa experiencia (si, me fijo de todos esos detalles, hasta el baño es super lindo, jajaj).
Los precios son bastante accesibles, de hecho, un poquito más económico que la segunda opción que les daré; y en cuanto al sabor del café, es sumamente delicioso. En esta ocasión Maríajose se fue por un Capuccino Italiano y yo por un Latte de Vainilla, nos dieron además unas galletitas de cortesía que nos terminó de alegrar el momento, disfrutamos mucho de nuestro café😍. Ah, y otra cosa interesante de este local, es que luego de pagar te dan un aparatico que suena al momento que tu pedido esté listo para irlo a retirar. Me emocioné mucho cuando sonó, me tenía ansiosa JAJAJA😅.
And the second café, which is also a restaurant, is Zaituna Café. Here we have eaten hamburgers and they are delicious, the coffee is also good and everything in itself is also very nice, the atmosphere is pleasant and the decoration is also very green and transmits a lot of calm and concentration. Unlike the previous one, here everything is a bit more personalised (like the cups), the Latte Art is beautiful and more professional, the coffee and all the variety they offer is incredible, on this occasion I ordered a Mocaccino and Maria a Vanilla Latte; but without a doubt we liked Coffee Roll better in terms of quality-price. This place is not out of the question for us, we still have to try their Cheesecake and other things on the menu, but for the purpose of this post, if you are looking for a more elegant experience, Zaituna is a very good option🥰.
Y de la segunda cafetería, que también es un restaurante, es Zaituna Café. Acá hemos comido hamburguesas y son deliciosas, el café también es bueno y todo en si también es muy lindo, el ambiente agradable y en la decoración también hay mucho verde y transmite mucha calma y concentración. A diferencia de la anterior, acá todo es un poco más personalizado (como las tazas), el Arte Latte es hermoso y más profesional, el café y toda la variedad que ofrecen es increíble, en esa ocasión yo pedí un Mocaccino y María un Latte Vainilla; pero sin duda en cuanto a calidad-precio nos gustó más Coffee Roll. Que ojo, este lugar no está nada descartado por nosotras, aún nos falta probar sus Cheesecake y demás cositas del menú, pero para motivo de este post, si buscan una experiencia un poco más elegante Zaituna es muy buena opción🥰.
