Although the vast majority of my mobile gamer time goes to Genshin Impact, sometimes I like to try some new mobile titles and although I don't usually spend a lot of time on them, I have also found some pretty interesting video games that don't require many hours a day to enjoy them or progress to a great extent, Shadow Slayer is a Hack'n'Slash title that despite being on mobile devices is much more comfortable than I could imagine at first, additionally it is much more complete and with several forms of gameplay in addition to giving away quite a lot of daily things to players, all this surprised me enough to think it would be the typical generic Gacha game with very boring gameplay unless you invest large amounts of money and also ends up being disappointing.
Something that made me try this title at first was its dark aesthetics and character design that reminded me a little of the old games that you could get on the internet pages, the goal of the adventure is quite simple, to overcome each of the levels of the story mode where although you have some goals in each level the priority will simply be to beat the 3 hours of enemies that you find yourself avoiding dying in the attempt because if you die you must restart or spend resources to continue reviving in the same place.
For free the game gives us two characters to fight in the levels, the main character named Cedric who happens to be a typical mandoble warrior, fairly moderate damage while having an acceptable defense with which you can withstand good damage before dying, The second character is called Mirianne and is a dark sorceress which as you might expect has a very low amount of health and defense in exchange for having ranged attacks and have the damage of the skills much higher than those of the warrior, a character to enter into combat, use all their skills to destroy everyone and change the warrior at once.

The combat is quite simple, although somewhat complicated to master perfectly at least in terms of dodging enemy attacks, we have 4 skills that we can select from a list of several skills from the main menu, each skill has a reuse time and different effects and damage, the basic attack button which in the case of the sorceress is a ranged attack, the button to jump and a button to perform a dash which serves to dodge attacks at the time you're doing the animation. Personally, adapting to the jump button and performing the dodge at the right moment was quite complicated for me due to the peculiarity that they are in the reverse order to the controls of Genshin Impact, so many times by pure muscle memory I jumped when I wanted to dash and received the hit.
In addition to the campaign game mode where we must overcome levels and defeating bosses every certain number of levels, we also have other game modes that serve to get more game resources such as the daily dungeon mode which allows us to fight against enemies with different difficulty to get gold, blacksmith crystals and character experience, the advantage is that when you complete a level of difficulty you can get the total rewards automatically every time you have available without having to fight.
There are also a couple of competitive modes such as survival mode which as the name suggests you must overcome endless hours of enemies while you can go getting improvements every few hours, as there is a global scoreboard you compete with other players with your scores obtained, The other competitive mode is called coliseum and in this if you can compete directly against the characters of other players, the only drawback I've seen is that apparently the number of active players is not very high and almost always appears to compete with other players with absurdly higher levels than yours so you can not do practically nothing to win.
Something quite striking is the amount of mechanics and add-ons that has this title as it is able to equip your characters and improve all their weapons and armor, although visually not noticeable in combat, you can also get runes enchantment to add certain effects to your objects to improve their damage or defensive capabilities, we can improve the different skills of the characters both active that are several and we must choose which to use in combat as well as passive skills.
Although it is a Gacha title there are many sections that allow you to earn resources such as crystals to buy gacha wishes, wishes, crystals to improve weapons, gold, even at the beginning of the daily section we are given objects of legendary and Ultima category which is the best of all and although they can be random at least for the campaign and the first levels of survival mode makes a big difference to have an object of this rarity.
The only negative aspect of this title is the amount of characters which, although it is something low considered for a title of this style, there is no way to get them for free or at the moment I have not seen any way to unlock them other than buying them with real money, likewise each character has some different Skins that you can equip them but again the only way to get all this is with in-game purchases, although the sale of Skins is something very common, having to do it also for new characters without having free to play method to get more characters if you can der something frustrating. In spite of everything it turns out to be a very entertaining title to pass the time.

Aunque la gran mayoría de mi tiempo gamer en móvil va destinado a Genshin Impact, algunas veces me gusta probar algunos nuevos títulos móviles y aunque no es que les suela destinar mucho tiempo igualmente he conseguido algunos videojuegos bastante interesantes y que no requieren estar muchas horas diarias para disfrutarlos o progresar en gran medida, Shadow Slayer es un título Hack'n'Slash que a pesar de estar en dispositivos móviles resulta bastante más cómodo de lo que me podía imaginar en un principio, adicionalmente es mucho más completo y con varias formas de juego además de regalar bastante cosas diarias a los jugadores, todo esto me sorprendió bastante al pensar que sería el típico juego Gacha genérico con jugabilidad muy aburrida a no ser que inviertas grandes cantidades de dinero e igualmente termina siendo decepcionante.
Algo que me hizo probar en un inicio este título fue su estética oscura y el diseño de sus personajes que me recordaba un poco a los antiguos juegos que podías conseguir en las páginas de internet, el objetivo de la aventura es bastante simple, ir superando cada uno de los niveles del modo historia en donde aunque cuentas con algunos objetivos en cada nivel lo prioritario simplemente será vencer a las 3 horas de enemigos que te encuentras evitando morir en el intento debido a que en caso de morir debes volverá comenzar o gastar recursos en continuar reviviendo en el mismo sitio.
De forma gratuita el juego nos regala dos personajes para poder luchar en los niveles, el personaje principal llamado Cedric que resulta ser un típico guerrero de mandoble, daño bastante moderado al mismo tiempo de contar con una defensa aceptable con lo cual puedes resistir un buen daño antes de morir, el segundo personaje lleva por nombre Mirianne y se trata de una hechicera oscura la cual como se podría esperar tienen una muy baja cantidad de salud y defensa a cambio de tener ataques de rango y tener el daño de las habilidades mucho más alto que las del guerrero, un personaje para entrar en combate, usar todas sus habilidades para destruir a todos y cambiar al guerrero de una vez.

El combate es bastante sencillo, aunque algo complicado de dominarlo a la perfección al menos en lo referente a esquivar ataques enemigos, contamos con 4 habilidades que podemos seleccionar entre una lista de varias habilidades desde el menú principal, cada habilidad tiene un tiempo de reutilización así como efectos y daño diferente, el botón de ataque básico que en el caso de la hechicera es un ataque a distancia, el botón para saltar y un botón para realizar un dash el cual sirve para esquivar ataques en el momento en que estas realizando la animación. En lo personal adaptarme al botón de salto y realizar la esquiva en el momento justo se me complico bastante por la peculiaridad que los mismos están en el orden inverso a los controles de Genshin Impact por lo cual muchas veces por pura memoria muscular saltaba cuando quería hacer el dash y recibía el golpe.
Además del modo de juego campaña en donde debemos ir superando niveles y venciendo jefes cada cierto número de niveles, también tenemos otros modos de juego que nos sirven para conseguir más recursos del juego como lo son el modo Mazmorra diaria el cual nos permite hacer combates contra enemigos con diferente dificultad para conseguir oro, cristales de herrería y experiencia de personaje, la ventaja es que cuando completas un nivel de dificultad puedes conseguir las recompensas totales de forma automática cada vez que tengas disponible sin tener que combatir.
También hay un par de modos competitivos como lo son el modo supervivencia el cual como su nombre indica debes ir superando horas sin fin de enemigos mientras puedes ir consiguiendo mejoras cada cierto número de horas, como hay un marcador global compites con otros jugadores con tus puntajes obtenidos, el otro modo competitivo se llama coliseo y en este si puedes competir directamente contra los personajes de otros jugadores, el único inconveniente que he visto es que al parecer la cantidad activa de jugadores no es muy alta y casi siempre te aparece para competir con otros jugadores con niveles absurdamente más altos que el tuyo por lo cual no podrás hacer prácticamente nada para ganar.
Algo bastante llamativo es la cantidad de mecánicas y complementos que tiene este titulo como lo es poder equipar a tus personajes y mejorar todas sus armas y armaduras, aunque visualmente no se nota en el combate, también puedes obtener runas de encantamiento para agregar ciertos efectos a tus objetos para mejorar su daño o capacidades defensivas, podemos mejorar las diferentes habilidades de los personajes tanto las activas que son varias y debemos escoger cuales usar en combate así como las habilidades pasivas.
Aunque se trata de un título Gacha son bastante los apartados que te permiten ganar recursos como cristales para comprar deseos del gacha, deseos, cristales para mejorar las armas, oro, incluso en el inicio de sección diarios nos regalan objetos de categoría legendaria y Ultima la cual es la mejor de todas y aunque pueden ser aleatorios al menos para la campaña y los primeros niveles del modo supervivencia hace una gran diferencia tener algún objeto de esta rareza.
El único aspecto algo negativo de este título es la cantidad de personajes la cual, aunque es algo baja considerado para un título de este estilo, los mismo no hay forma de conseguirlos de manera gratuita o por los momentos no he visto forma de desbloquearlos que no sea comprándolos con dinero real, del mismo modo cada personaje tiene algunas Skins diferentes que les puedes equipar pero nuevamente la única forma para poder conseguir todo esto es con compras dentro del juego, aunque la venta de Skins es algo muy frecuente, el tener que hacerlo también para nuevos personajes sin tener método free to play para conseguir más personajes si puede der algo frustrante. A pesar de todo resulta ser un título muy entretenido para pasar el tiempo.
