Hello friends. We continue with more anime of this winter season that already culminated with excellent animated works. This time we will talk about anime of the action genre that have been so prominent in recent months with releases so expected that some even "broke the internet". From fights between gangs in a Japanese neighborhood to fighting hand to hand with a monster/knight who guards a dungeon to death, all this and more you will find in this incredible "Top 5 Action Anime" that I hope you like.
As last time, it's the same here: I'll be rating from 1 to 10 each anime, I'll give my personal opinion, so surely some won't agree with the choices I give, and we'll start with "the worst" until we end with "the best" of this year's winter season.
Metallic Rouge
We start off a bit strong with the next anime, a combination of Mechas with special beings, androids made by aliens and fights that are literally from another world. An anime that went somewhat unnoticed this season, it appears from the competition, because of the story and the slow development that it has in its first chapters. However, taking into account details such as animation, visual effects, sound effects and characters, it is among my favorites of the season, but it is not very high in this top.
The anime is about a futuristic world where humans have managed to travel to space, but this with the help of some beings (aliens) who visited the planet earth and made a pact with its inhabitants to provide them with an army of androids called Near that they created with a power beyond the normal. However, these are programmed not to harm humans, except for 10 beings specially created to be the most powerful in the world. However, these are hunted down and killed one by one by a Near that has equal or even greater power than them.
While I like the main plot that it has, as a fan of the science fiction genre, dealing with themes of good futurists and aliens, what strikes me most is the quality of animation that this work has from the beginning, which earns many points in my favor and more in the battle scenes it has. However, the negative side of this anime is the story itself that we are told, which feels very slow, besides being somewhat heavy. The main characters are well developed, showing us relationships and friendships that we can get attached to, but that's as far as it goes.
Personally, I give it a rating of 7/10 for the action and sci-fi genres.
Bucchigiri?!
Let's move on to an anime of action and fantastic fights, moving completely away from space and super-powered aliens and androids, as we visit a somewhat turbulent neighborhood in Japan filled with gangs of gangsters just looking for a fight. A work animated by the famous MAPPA, with a story and characters that we will love or hate forever. This particular anime focuses more on the fights, battles and challenges that are presented to us, plus a level of comedy that makes it relaxing to watch this anime from the beginning.
The play introduces us to a boy who returns to live with his mother in the neighborhood where he was born and raised, after several years in the city. He starts going to high school in his neighborhood, which is a mess because of the big gangs that live there, breaking the rules and doing whatever they want. However, our protagonist focuses on his only goal: to get a girlfriend and lose his virginity. Hence, he meets the only girl who studies in his same classroom, who is the younger sister of a very dangerous leader of one of the gangs.
Aside from being funny to absurd levels, this anime is very entertaining but the way we are introduced to the characters and the plot gets so wrapped up to always end up in awesome confrontations and fights. The animation is tremendous, as expected from MAPPA, but what is most striking is how they add a bit of supernatural to the plot with powerful beings possessing bodies and bestowing of power beyond the normal. However, what breaks with everything typical of this type of anime is that the main protagonist is a cowardly and self-centered man who only seeks his own interest. The development of the characters and the relationships we are presented with is spectacular.
Personally, I give it a rating of 8/10 as far as the action genre is concerned.
MASHLE: Magic and Muscles - The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc
Now let's combine fisticuffs with magic with the second season or second arc of Mashle, an anime that became a hit last 2023 when it first aired. It's literally like combining One Punch Man with Harry Potter. This second season came with everything, fights and confrontations as impressive and absurd at the same time as plots and moments as funny as they are dramatic, as well as levels of magical power that break any limits set in the first season. A complete spectacle of fights, punches, kicks and lots of magic.
Mash continues with his mission to become a Divine Visionary, but, to achieve this he will have to go through many tests, among them are the Candidacy Exams that will determine who will be the next candidates to become Visionaries. However, the competition is very tight and some of the most talented students seek to kill him. However, our protagonist will try to follow the rules and show that he does possess magic as he faces each test and challenge with his own fists.
After watching the first season on air, I wasn't expecting much from this second one, however, I was quite surprised how everything escalated to such a level that our protagonist, without magic or wands, faces wizards so powerful that they can even control time and space (literally). A pure demonstration of strength and magic at impressive levels, a combination of action with comedy that seems to be absurd many times and the way they always defy every natural law that exists in this world, as just a couple of punches. No doubt that Mash is one of the most entertaining characters to watch of this era.
Personally, I give it an 8.5/10 rating as far as the action genre is concerned. By the way, I quite loved the Opening it has.
Solo Leveling
That's right, this very famous and widely acclaimed anime this season, is the one I'll put in this post. While it is true that it has become a success because of the high level of animation and the incredible battles it has, it is also true that it has several negative points that do not make it my number one action anime of this season, but just saying that it is the second is a lot, really. A perfect combination of fantasy with action and adventure that anyone will like, especially if you are a fan of anime about dungeons and hunters.
The anime introduces us to an E-class hunter, the lowest of all, who is popularly known for being "the weakest weapon in the world". However, his sheer determination to become stronger and remain a hunter gets him through the complicated situation he finds himself in with his mother sick and hospitalized and him being the only one in the house to help with expenses and food. The business of being a hunter is quite a fortune, but only the strongest and most talented are the ones who succeed. However, our protagonist's situation will change completely when he encounters a double dungeon one day.
From the beginning to the end, this anime will always keep you with a very high "HYPE", with fights, training and combats between monsters and hunters that is a visual spectacle. While its strong point is the animation and the plot it has, there are also some details such as the typical "gift power" it receives as well as some chapters that seem to have been placed as fillers as they are so slow and boring. However, they stand out very well in the part of giving us a good development of the main characters, in addition to a story that increasingly hooks you more and more by the events that occur. An anime that is fine to watch one day if you want some action in your life.
Personally, I give it a 9.5/10 rating for the action and fantasy genres.
Ninja Kamui
I may be going out on a bit of a limb by placing an anime that has yet to finish airing as this one, but I will do so due to the fact that it's undoubtedly the best action anime I've seen this season. One that even got many more views in its first episode than the previous one Solo Leveling (taking into account the high "HYPE" given to this one, being the most awaited one). And being directed by none other than Adult Swim, you can get an idea of what to expect from this wonderful animated masterpiece of today.
The story introduces us to a family that seems to be like any other, being both mother, father and young son always together. Until on the news they see that some members of an old ninja organization who have defected are being assassinated. They, seeing this, become worried and prepare for the day when it will be their turn. One night they are visited by some masked hunters, who have been sent by the leader of the said organization, to assassinate them. They manage to kill the wife and child, but he manages to survive, albeit just barely. This is when he begins his revenge against the organization that is being backed by an international technology company.
With what I have just mentioned, you can get an idea of what this anime is about. This story, although it has been told before in other western series or movies, has a very special detail which is the perfect combination of ninjas with suits and lots of blood. A story of love, betrayal, pain and revenge that hooks you from the beginning, besides having fights and combats so impressive that it is impossible not to watch. The animation, on the other hand, is a clear 10/10 that can even be measured clearly with any other and fall short. The story, the characters, the encounters, everything is so well done that it is fascinating to watch this anime chapter by chapter, not to mention the tremendous Opening it has.
Personally, I give it a well-deserved rating of 10/10 as far as the action genre is concerned.
And this, my friends, has been my "Top 5 Action Anime" of this winter season. No doubt some of these anime I mentioned you may have seen or heard about on the internet at some point. I hope you liked this selection and, if so, don't forget that there is still one more Top to bring this week, before the next season starts and this special will be absent for three months.

Hola amigos. Seguimos con más animes de esta temporada de invierno que ya culminó con excelentes obras animadas. En esta oportunidad hablaremos de los animes del género de acción que tanto se han destacado estos últimos meses con estrenos tan esperado que algunos hasta “rompieron el internet“. Desde peleas entre bandas de un barrio de Japón hasta pelear mano a mano con un monstruo/caballero que cuida de una mazmorra a muerte, todo esto y más encontrarás en este increíble “Top 5 Animes de Acción” que espero te gusten.
Como la vez anterior, aquí ocurre igual: estaré calificando del 1 al 10 cada anime, daré mi opinión personal, así que seguramente algún no estará de acuerdo con las elecciones que dé, y empezaremos con “el peor” hasta terminar con “el mejor” de la temporada de invierno de este año.
Metallic Rouge
Empezamos un tanto fuerte con el siguiente anime, una combinación de Mechas con seres especiales, androides hechos por extraterrestres y peleas que son literalmente de otro mundo. Un anime que pasó un tanto desapercibido esta temporada, aparece de la competencia, por la historia y el lento desarrollo que este posee en sus primeros capítulos. Sin embargo, tomando en cuenta detalles como lo es la animación, los efectos visuales, los efectos de sonido y los personajes, está entre mis favoritos de la temporada, pero tampoco está muy alto en este top.
El anime trata de un mundo futurista donde los humanos han logrado viajar al espacio, pero esto con la ayuda de unos seres (extraterrestres) que visitaron el planeta tierra e hicieron un pacto con sus habitantes para ellos proporcionarles un ejército de androides llamados Near que ellos crearon con un poder más allá del normal. Sin embargo, estos están programados para no lastimar a los humanos, excepto 10 seres creados especialmente para ser los más poderosos del mundo. Sin embargo, estos son cazados y asesinados uno por uno por un Near que tiene un poder igual o incluso mayor que ellos.
Si bien me gusta la trama principal que posee, como fan del género de la ciencia ficción, al tratar temas de buenos futuristas y extraterrestres, lo que más me llama la atención es la calidad de animación que posee esta obra desde el principio, lo cual gana muchos puntos a mi favor y más en las escenas de batallas que posee. Sin embargo, lo negativo de este anime es la historia en sí que nos cuentan, la cual se siente muy lenta, amén de ser algo pesada. Los personajes principales están bien desarrollados, mostrándonos relaciones y amistades con las que nos podemos encariñar, pero hasta ahí.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 7/10 en lo que respecta a los géneros de acción y ciencia ficción.
Bucchigiri?!
Sigamos con un anime de acción y peleas fantásticas, alejándonos por completo del espacio y de extraterrestres y androides superpoderosos, mientras visitamos un barrio un tanto turbulento de Japón repleto de bandas de pandilleros que solo buscan pelar. Una obra animada por la famosa MAPPA, con una historia y personajes que amaremos u odiaremos para siempre. En este particular se centra más el tema de las peleas, batallas y desafíos que nos presentan, amén de un nivel de comedia que hace relajante ver este anime desde el principio.
La obra nos presenta a un chico que regresa a vivir con su mamá en el barrio donde nació y creció, luego de varios años en la ciudad. Este empieza a ir a la preparatoria de su barrio, el cual es todo un desastre ya que las grandes pandillas que hay viven rompiendo las reglas y haciendo lo que les da la gana. Sin embargo, nuestro protagonista se centra en su único objetivo: conseguir novia y perder su virginidad. De aquí que conozca a la única chica que estudia en su mismo salón, la cual es la hermana menor de un líder muy peligroso de una de las pandillas.
Aparte de ser gracioso a niveles absurdos, este anime es muy entretenido pero la forma en la que nos presentan a los personajes y la trama se envuelve tanto para siempre terminar en enfrentamientos y peleas impresionantes. La animación es tremenda, como se espera de MAPPA, pero lo que más llama la atención es cómo agregan un poco de sobrenatural a la trama con seres poderosos que poseen cuerpos y otorgan de poder más allá de lo normal. Sin embargo, lo que rompe con todo lo típico de este tipo de animes es que el protagonista principal sea un cobarde y egocéntrico que solo busca su propio interés. El desarrollo de los personajes y las relaciones que nos presentan es espectacular.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 8/10 en lo que respecta al genero de la acción.
MASHLE: Magic and Muscles - The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc
Ahora vamos a combinar los puñetazos con la magia con la segunda temporada o el segundo arco de Mashle, un anime que se convirtió en un éxito el pasado año 2023 cuando se emitió por primera vez. Literalmente es como combinar One Punch Man con Harry Potter. Esta segunda temporada se vino con todo, peleas y enfrentamientos tan impresionantes y absurdos a la vez como tramas y momentos tan graciosos como dramáticos, amén de niveles de poder mágico que rompen cualquier límite puesto en la primera temporada. Un espectáculo completo de peleas, puñetazos, patadas y mucha magia.
Mash sigue con su misión de convertirse en Visionario Divino, pero, para lograr esto tendrá que pasar por muchas pruebas, entre ellas están los Exámenes de Candidatura que determinará quiénes serán los próximos candidatos a volverse Visionarios. Sin embargo, la competencia está muy reñida y algunos de los estudiantes más talentosos buscan acabar con él. Sin embargo, nuestro protagonista intentará seguir las reglas y mostrará que sí posee magia mientras afronta cada prueba y desafío con sus propios puños.
Luego de ver la primera temporada en emisión, no me esperaba mucho está segunda, sin embargo, me sorprendió bastante cómo todo se fue escalando a tal nivel que nuestro protagonista, sin magia ni varitas, se enfrenta a magos tan poderosos que incluso pueden controlar el tiempo y el espacio (literalmente). Una demostración pura de fuerza y magia a niveles impresionantes, una combinación de acción con comedia que parece ser absurdo muchas veces y la forma en la que siempre desafían toda ley natural que existe en este mundo, como solo un par de puñetazos. Sin duda que Mash es uno de los personajes más entretenidos de ver de esta época.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 8.5/10 en lo que respecta al género de la acción. Por cierto, me encantó bastante el Opening que tiene.
Solo Leveling
Así es, este anime tan famoso y aclamado por todos en esta temporada, es el que pondré en este puesto. Si bien es cierto que se ha convertido en todo un éxito por el alto nivel de animación y las increíbles batallas que posee, también es cierto que tiene varios puntos negativos que no lo hacen mi anime de acción número uno de esta temporada, pero ya con decir que es el segundo es mucho, la verdad. Una combinación perfecta de fantasía con acción y aventura que a cualquiera le va a gustar, sobre todo si eres fan de los animes de mazmorras y cazadores.
El anime nos presenta a un cazador de clase E, la más baja de todas, que es popularmente conocido por ser “el arma más débil del mundo”. Sin embargo, su enorme determinación por querer volverse más fuerte y seguir siendo cazador lo saca por la complicada situación en la que se encuentra con su madre enferma y hospitalizada y siendo él el único de la casa que ayuda en los gastos y la comida. El negocio de ser cazador es todo una fortuna, pero solo los más fuertes y talentosos son los que tienen éxito. Sin embargo, la situación de nuestro protagonista cambiará por completo al encontrarse un día con una mazmorra doble.
Desde el principio, hasta el final, este anime te mantendrá siempre con un “HYPE” muy alto, con peleas, entrenamientos y combates entre monstruos y cazadores que es todo un espectáculo visual. Si bien su punto fuerte es la animación y la trama que posee, también hay algunos detalles como el típico “poder regalado” que recibe como también algunos capítulos que parecen haber sido colocados como rellenos al ser tan lentos y aburridos. Sin embargo, se destacan muy bien en la parte de darnos un buen desarrollo de los personajes principales, amén de una historia que cada vez te engancha más por los sucesos que ocurren. Un anime que está bien para ver un día si quieres algo de acción en tu vida.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 9.5/10 en lo que respecta a los géneros de acción y fantasía.
Ninja Kamui
Tal vez me arriesgue un poco al colocar un anime que aún le falta por terminar de emitirse como este, pero lo haré debido a que, indudablemente, es el mejor anime de acción que he visto en esta temporada. Uno que incluso consiguió muchas más vistas en su primer episodio que el anterior que Solo Leveling (tomando en cuenta el alto “HYPE” que le dieron a este, siendo el más esperado). Y es que, al ser dirigido por nada más y nada menos que Adult Swim, se puede tener una idea de lo que nos podemos esperar de esta maravillosa obra maestra animada de la actualidad.
La historia nos presenta a una familia que parece ser como cualquier otra, siendo tanto la madre, el padre y el hijo pequeño siempre juntos. Hasta que en las noticias se ve que están asesinando a algunos miembros de una antigua organización de ninjas que han desertado. Ellos, al ver esto, se preocupan y se preparan para el día en el que les toque a ellos. Una noche los visitan algunos cazadores enmascarados, que han sido enviados por el líder de dicha organización, para asesinarlos. Logran matar a la esposa y al niño, pero él logra sobrevivir, aunque por muy poco. Aquí es cuando empieza su venganza contra dicha organización que está siendo respaldada por una compañía internacional de tecnología.
Ya con lo que te acabo de mencionar, te puedes dar una idea de a lo que va este anime. Esta historia, si bien se ha contado ya anteriormente en otras series o películas de occidente, incluso, tiene un detalle muy especial que es la perfecta combinación de ninjas con trajes y mucha sangre. Una historia de amor, traición, dolor y venganza que te engancha desde el principio, amén de tener peleas y combates tan impresionantes que es imposible no ver. La animación, por su lado, es un claro 10/10 que incluso puede medirse claramente con cualquier otra y quedar corto. La historia, los personajes, los encuentros, todo está tan bien hecho que es fascinante ver este anime capítulo por capítulo, sin contar con el tremendo Opening que tiene.
Personalmente, le doy una muy merecida calificación de 10/10 en lo que respecta al género de la acción.
Y esto, amigos, ha sido mi “Top 5 Animes de Acción” de esta temporada de invierno. Sin duda que alguno de estos animes que mencioné los habrás visto o escuchado hablar en internet en algún momento. Espero que te haya gustado está selección y, si es así no te olvides que aún queda un Top más por traer esta semana, antes de que empiece la siguiente temporada y este especial se ausente por tres meses.
