This is the 471st spa season and it is not a typo. The local spa has a long history.
This time, the season opening included a run - the 12 or 25 km race was competed. The easier route went around the river Bečva and the longer one was "spiced" with forest paths on local hills with an elevation of 900 meters.
Minulý víkend jsem měl mít původně jiný program, ale všechno se tak nějak semlelo a nakonec jsem se ocitnul na zahájení lázeňské sezóny v lázních Teplice nad Bečvou.

Součástí otvírání sezóny byl tentokrát i běh - sooutěžilo se v běhu na 12 nebo 25 kilometrů. Lehčí trasa vedla kolem řeky Bečvy a ta delší byla "okořeněná" lesními cestami po místních kopcích s převýšením 900 metrů.
The cultural programme continued with a performance of majorettes (group "Panenky" from Hranice) and a concert of the Big Band of the ZUŠ Hranice. In the afternoon, Jiří Pavlica's ensemble Hradistan played, which is a musical group with a high artistic and interpretative level, an unusually wide range of genres and an unusual repertoire. The evening belonged to the Olomouc group Acoustic Lumen.
Kulturní program pak pokračoval vystoupením mažoretek (skupina "Panenky" z Hranic) a koncertem kapely Big Band ZUŠ Hranice. Odpoledne pak zahrál soubor Hradišťan Jiřího Pavlici, což je hudební seskupení s vysokou uměleckou i interpretační úrovní, nezvykle širokým žánrovým záběrem a netradičním repertoárem. Večer pak patřil olomoucké skupině Acoustic Lumen.

At the stand of the "Na Blatech" winery from Drnholec they had fascinating Sylvan. It is not so widespread in our country. It is quite tricky to grow and process, so not many people grow it. I was glad I could taste it and I thought the wine was pretty good.
Jak jsem psal na začátku, měl jsem původně jiný program. Chtěl jsem navštívit několik vinařství v Boršicích. Ale ani tady jsem nepřišel zkrátka. U stánku vinařství "Na Blatech" z Drnholce měli velmi zajímavé Sylvánské zelené. Není to u nás až tak moc rozšířená odrůda. Je docela choulostivá na pěstování a zpracování, takže ji málokdo pěstuje. Byl jsem rád, že jsem ji mohl ochutnat a mysláím, že to víno bylo dost dobré.
At the stones booth I remembered some friends from the Czech community at HIVE, that they might even pick something interesting among the minerals. And to top it all off, I took a picture of the canal cover.
