Ha llegado un nuevo concurso de Literatos y, en esta ocasión, con dos temas que me apasionan. Por una parte, se trata de escribir un soneto, lo cual para mí es un regocijo, pues tengo mucho tiempo sumergido en esta forma poética y cada día me enamora más. En segundo lugar, el concurso está dedicado a W. Shakespeare y por ello el tema del poema debe ser acerca de los amores que no pueden declararse o realizarse, tema que me apasiona también. ¡Eso lo saben bien quienes me leen con regularidad! La información completa acerca de esta actividad, la pueden leer en la convocatoria al Concurso de sonetos en honor del escritor inglés William Shakespeare. Mi participación, como siempre lo indico, no cuenta para el concurso. Este post solo tiene la finalidad de invitar a quienes me lean, a participar en dicho concurso, a estimularlos a sumarse a este maravilloso reto y por supuesto, darme el gusto de darle rienda suelta a mi inspiración. |
A new Literatos contest has arrived and this time with two themes that I am passionate about. On the one hand, it is about writing a sonnet, which is a pleasure for me because I have been immersed in this poetic form for a long time and every day I fall more and more in love with it. Secondly, the contest is dedicated to W. Shakespeare and therefore the theme of the poem must be about loves that cannot be declared or realized, a theme that I am also passionate about, as those who read me regularly know very well! My participation, as I always state, does not count for the competition. La Condena
Que mi alma no suspire al verte, pides,
y que mis ojos no delaten mis pasiones.
¡Como si se pudiera callar los corazones
que se hayan sumergido en tales lides!
Es batalla ciega, sin adalides,
refrenar el amor y sus razones.
Al pretender callar las emociones,
ni las silencias, ni las impides.
Mas presa de tus sociales temores
tu juicio se obnubila, se enajena
y antepone en tu vida los dolores.
Tus días y mis días se nublan de pena
al no poder lucir nuestros amores
y juntos pagaremos la condena...
The Condemnation
May my soul not sigh at the sight of you, you ask,
and that my eyes do not betray my passions.
As if it were possible to silence the hearts
that have immersed themselves in such battles!
It is a blind battle, without champions,
to restrain love and its reasons.
By pretending to silence emotions,
You neither silence them, nor prevent them.
But prey to your social fears
your judgment is clouded and alienated
and puts sorrows first in your life.
Your days and my days are clouded with sorrow
for not being able to show off our loves
and together we will pay the condemnation...
