Por estos lados del mundo retomamos los torneos de ajedrez como Dios manda, porque hacia finales del año pasado Matías estaba flojeando mucho y no estuvo practicando ni participando en kas actividades de la Federación. Por suerte hablamos con él y hace unas semanas inició nuevamente en los torneos, y haremos lo posible por inscribirlo en una academia más formal que en la que estaba anteriormente, mientras tanto está practicando mucho en casa y en una app con actividades online.
El fin de semana pasado estuvimos de torneo, y digo "estuvimos" porque va toda la familia, lo único que nos falta es jugar también.
En esta oportunidad participó en una modalidad que es nueva para él como lo son los Híbridos. Estos son torneos oline con jugadores de otros países, y este particularmente se organizó entre federaciones de ajedrez de Suramérica, con la participación de muchos ajedrecistas, en distintas categorías.
Fue estilo clásico, es decir, los más largos, de hecho este fueron 6 rondas, pero de 60 minutos, con un incremento de 30 segundos por partida, es decir que cada una podría pasar las dos horas fácilmente, por eso lo dividieron en dos días, dos días agotadores y de mucha locura y cansancio en realidad, pero me hizo feliz verlo retomar y emocionarse con sus logros.
De los 6 partidos, ganó uno y logró hacer dos tablas, por lo que solo perdió tres y eso para el que no estuvo practicando hace mucho fue todo un logro, y por supuesto aproveché de alentarlo, y es que si logró eso sin estar en una academia sé que es mucho lo que puede alcanzar practicando y esforzándose como se debe.
Ya para Semana Santa me estoy mentalizado porque hay un torneo de tres días, pero estamos felices de poder apoyarlo porque definitivamente el ajedrez tiene mucho que aportar a su vida. Por lo pronto, después de tantos torneos, ya estamos más organizados con tema, comida y maneras de pasar el tiempo mientras estamos horas y horas esperando con él, así que estarán viendo un poco más del mundo del ajedrez desde mi blog.

These are online tournaments with players from other countries, and this one in particular was organized between South American chess federations, with the participation of many chess players, in different categories.
It was classic style, that is, the longest, in fact this was 6 rounds, but 60 minutes, with an increase of 30 seconds per game, meaning that each one could easily spend two hours, that's why they divided it into two days, two exhausting and very crazy and tired days actually, but it made me happy to see him get back on track and get excited about his achievements.
Of the 6 games, he won one and managed to make two draws, so he only lost three and that for the one who had not been practicing for a long time was quite an achievement, and of course I took advantage of encouraging him, and he did achieve that without being in an academy I know that there is a lot you can achieve by practicing and putting in the right effort.
I'm already psyched up for Easter because there is a three-day tournament, but we are happy to be able to support it because chess definitely has a lot to contribute to your life. For now, after so many tournaments, we are now more organized with theme, food and ways to pass the time while we are waiting for hours and hours with him, so you will be seeing a little more of the world of chess from my blog.
