Last two days in the evening when I was returning to my house by the pond, the road got a bit dark. Because it was after dusk. Then I was suddenly standing on the bank of the pond watching it. Because it was looking a little fuzzy in the dark and felt strange and after some time I realized it was a turtle. Then I went a little closer and took a photograph with the mobile flash on.
The pond is behind our house and it is very old. Fish farming is common here but there is little expectation of turtles. However it was quite large and probably rested on the edge of the pond. However, very few such animals are seen in the pond. But to be honest there is a canal to the east of our house where there is a lot of water during the monsoons and many large turtles can be seen at work there. Sometimes even some people are seen who come to catch turtles. However it looked a bit strange to me so I took a photograph.
