I love birthdays; celebrating life is a way of saying WE ARE ALIVE! And it is a reason for joy, gratitude and of course sharing this special and unique moment with loved ones.
I always think that birthdays should be celebrated because, for example, mother's day is all mothers' day, children's day is all children's day and so on, but birthdays are unique to one person and that's why something special should be done.
¡Hola! Mis queridos amigos, espero que todo este muy bien y se cumplan todos los anhelos de su corazón ❤️. A mí me encantan los cumpleaños; celebrar la vida es una forma de decir ¡ESTAMOS VIVOS! Y es un motivo de alegría, agradecimiento y por supuesto compartir con los seres queridos este momento especial y único. Yo siempre pienso que el cumpleaños debe celebrarse porque por ejemplo el día de la madre, es todas las madres, el del niño de todos los niños y así, pero el cumpleaños es único de uno solo y por eso se debe hacer algo especial.
In my office, the same dynamics of being outside (I work in liaison with companies), does not allow me to spend much time with the people who work there and therefore, contact is limited. Besides, they have been working together for almost 20 years and although I have my time there, I am always the "newcomer", so these activities of sharing with them in that aspect are new to me.
I liked that this year, in their attempt to unite us, they have planned to celebrate the birthdays of each one of us, to do something different in our area and as an emotional salary (at a business level) it motivates us to spend a moment away from tensions, work, formality, which allows us to relax and share as friends.
En mi oficina, la misma dinámica de estar fuera (trabajo en enlaces con empresas), no me permite estar mucho tiempo con las personas que trabajan allí y por ende, el contacto es limitado. Además, ellas llevan casi 20 años trabajando juntas y aunque ya yo tengo mi tiempo allí, siempre soy la "mas nueva" por lo que estas actividades de compartir con ellas en ese aspectos, son novedosas para mí. Me ha gustado, que este año en su intento por unirnos han planificado la celebración de los cumpleaños de cada una de nosotras, para hacer algo diferente en nuestra área y como salario emotivo (a nivel empresarial) nos motiva a pasar un momento alejada de tensiones, trabajo, formalidad lo que nos permite relajarnos y compartir como unas amigas más.
In the first months of the year almost all of them have their birthdays 😆 so, since February it has been celebration after celebration; for this, first we agree and raise the money to buy the cake. I have to admit that all I do is collaborate with money, but they are EXPERTS! in making the decoration and that makes it look beautiful.
On each birthday we add to it, changing colours, bringing snacks and so we have really integrated in a positive and harmonious way. It is worth noting that this celebration takes place in the morning, so many people arrive and it looks nice, because they smile, share, eat some of what we have and some even stay to sing birthday songs.
I must confess that I have not seen this type of initiative in other offices, but I hope that as they see us, others will be encouraged to celebrate their staff who have birthdays every month.
En los primeros meses del año cumplen casi todas 😆 por eso, desde febrero eso ha sido celebración tras celebración; para ello, primero nos ponemos de acuerdo y reunimos el dinero para comprar el pastel. Yo tengo que reconocer que solo lo que hago es colaborar con dinero, pero ellas son ¡Expertas! en hacer la decoración y eso hace que se vea bonito. En cada cumpleaños vamos agregando, cambiando colores, llevando aperitivos y así de verdad nos hemos integrado de manera positiva y armónica. Es de resaltar que esta celebración la hacemos en horario de la mañana, por lo que muchas personas llegan y se ve bonito, porque sonríen, comparten, comen algo de lo que tenemos y algunos se quedan hasta para cantar cumple. Debo confesar, que no he visto este tipo de iniciativas en otras oficinas pero espero que así como nos ven a nosotros, los demás puedan animarse a celebrar a su personal que cada mes esté de cumpleaños.
The next celebrations are in September 🙃 and mine is in November 🤣 and even though it's almost 7 months, I can already imagine myself doing a Christmas lunch he,he,he,he. I like to celebrate so much, that this year I visualize myself doing something different for that date and infected by the Christmas spirit, I think everything will come together to do something special, WE'LL SEE!
Today, the decoration was in purple and black colours as the birthday girl wanted; we bought some snaks (as they are known nowadays) and now the celebration included a sash and crown for the birthday girl, which is very fashionable around here.
Ya por estos meses terminaron las celebraciones, las próximas son en septiembre 🙃 y la mía que es en noviembre 🤣 y aunque son casi 7 meses, ya me imagino haciendo hasta un almuerzo navideño je,je,je. Es que a mí me gusta tanto celebrar, que este año me visualizo haciendo algo distinto para esa fecha y contagiada del espíritu navideño, creo que todo se juntará para hacer algo especial ¡YA VEREMOS! Hoy, la decoración fue de colores morados y negros como lo quería la cumpleañera; nosotros compramos algunos snaks (como se conocen ahora) y ahora en el festejo incluyeron una banda y corona para la cumpleañera que esta muy de moda por aquí.
The cake varies every time and the last one was coconut shredded with custard filling YUMY! accompanied by quesillo (Venezuelan dessert) so that was sweet but sweet. Although I don't eat sweets, I always like to try them and really, the quality is great.
At the end, the girls took care of picking everything up and as if nothing had happened, we left things in their place, everything was put away and we went on with the day until the next celebration😊.
La torta todas las veces varía y la última fue de ralladura de coco con relleno de crema pastelera ¡YUMY! acompañada de quesillo (postre venezolano) así que eso fue dulce mas dulce. Aunque yo no como dulce, siempre me gusta probar a ver que tal y de verdad, que la calidad es muchísima. Al final, las chicas se encargan de recoger todo y como si nada hubiese pasado, dejamos las cosas en su lugar, se guarda todo y seguimos en la jornada hasta la siguiente celebración😊.
