It's hard to believe that a couple of weeks ago my trees were going to have green leaves and the first spring flowers were ready to appear. Today my garden is one big snowy valley. Tree branches are slightly lowered under heavy snow. The grapes turned into bizarre white ropes.
On the other hand, I'm pleased that the snow has fallen. Maybe it creates some problems, for example, when driving a car, but for plants it is a salvation. The frosts that began recently seriously threatened my plants, especially bulbous flowers, which could simply die without snow. Snow seems cold to us, but it protects plants and flower bulbs. I don't know yet how much frost on snowless days hurt them, but I hope not too much.
I'm already looking forward to spring. Now it's really easier. The sun shines brighter and more often and my mood and activity improve a little. I want to make it a lot before the summer heat comes and I have to hide in the house again.
