First of all, I want to start this post thanking the moderation of the Music Zone community for having selected me among the winners of the 36th cycle of the Hive Music Festival, I must say that I did not even think about getting such an award, so you can imagine my face when I received the notification, in fact, for a moment I did not understand what it was about, but when I realized I can only feel satisfaction and happiness. These are the kind of things that make me love this blockchain and that is why I plan to continue here, sharing my humble covers always looking to improve and learn from all of you, believe me you are a great example for me.
For week 109 - round 1, I bring a song of a band that served as much inspiration for me as far as the world of music is concerned when I was quite, Red Hot Chili Peppers has a unique style that lends itself to all musical tastes and that is how they managed to impact me with their good music. The albums Californication and By the way are the most emblematic for me, being the first one I mentioned to which belongs the song “Otherside” which is the one I share with you through my usual bass covers.
Antes que nada, quiero iniciar éste post agradeciendo a la moderación de la comunidad Music Zone por haberme seleccionado entre los ganadores del ciclo 36 del Hive Music Festival, debo decir que ni me pasaba por la mente obtener tal galardón, así que imaginarán mi cara cuando recibí la notificación, de hecho, por un momento no entendía de que se trataba, pero cuando caí en cuenta solo puede sentir satisfacción y felicidad. Este son el tipo de cosas que me hacen amar ésta blockchain y es por eso que tengo planificado continua aquí, compartiendo mis humildes covers buscando siempre mejorar y de aprender de todos ustedes, créanme que son un gran ejemplo para mí.
Para la semana 109 – ronda 1, traigo una canción de una banda que sirvió de mucha inspiración para mí en lo que al mundo de la música se refiere cuando era bastante, Red Hot Chili Peppers tiene un estilo único que se presta para todos los gustos musicales y es así que lograron impactarme con su buena música. Los discos Californication y By the way son los más emblemáticos para mí, siendo el primero que mencioné al cual pertenece la canción “Otherside” que es la que comparto con ustedes a través de mis acostumbrados covers de bajo.

I cut the song after the first chorus so as not to make it so repetitive, so you will hear the bridge and guitar solo earlier than it should be, I did that with the Cubase5 application, but don't worry, you won't miss anything at all from an instrumental point of view. I also removed the original bass line so that the one I recorded would be more noticeable. I applied a chorus effect to the bass as I thought it would look pretty good with this song. I hope my participation is to everyone's liking, once again it's a pleasure to share with you, a big hug!
Recorté la canción luego del primer coro para no hacerla tan repetitiva, por lo que escucharán el puente y solo de guitarra antes de lo que corresponde, eso lo hice con la aplicación Cubase5, pero no se preocupen, no se perderán absolutamente nada desde el punto de vista instrumental. También eliminé la línea de bajo original para que la que yo grabé tuviera mayor notoriedad. Apliqué al bajo un efecto chorus ya que consideré que quedaría bastante bien con ésta canción.
