The future of everything lies in the hands of God. Man on his own does not have the capacity to determine his fate. The entire future of humanity are placed in God's hand.

This is stating categorically, about the future of events to come, in which our Lord Jesus Christ who is God-man began to tell future events, out- comes about Himself, prophesying the things to come that would strengthen His disciples belief system.
In the events of Jesus Christ meeting His disciples, he explained better that man on himself can not know the future out side God. In summary , the totality of man's future is packaged in God.
