For me what excites me is traveling actually and i have love doing that since i was a kid with my grandma and because of her business, she had to traveled alot and i have been with her since i was 5 years old. So basically wherever she goes i also go and through that i discovered new places as well as new friends and this went on for several years till i finally left home when i was 19 years of age and since then i haven't traveled like i do.
Now that I'm doing partially well financially i really do find joy and excitement in exploring countries around my country because it's more cheaper than going to far places around the world around. Though some will say the excitement always comes from venturing to far places like Europe, asia and other continents, but for me, the excitement is found right on my doorstep, in nearby countries waiting to be explored.
To be honest, traveling to nearby countries has its own special unique and admirable features. And i get to experience and know several cultures, foods, and experiences, all within easy reach and also similar to my country Nigeria where i came from and through that, i can easily relate to people that shares similar cultures with mine.
Why i also get excited is also one of the best parts of traveling to nearby countries is the chance to try new things and the previous one which i went to was Tanzania and u get to stand beside a big turtle and this was something, i would never do on a normal day but i get to risk it because why would I travel and not get tgat feeling of breaking my fear.
Another reason why i get excited is also the opportunity to try out local specialties, like street food and having access to nutritional fruits which we don't have in my country
There's a lot if things to be excited about when travelling even if you're just a short distance from home, crossing a border can feel like entering a whole new world where their language is different from mine and also their cuisine. Though i rarely try out new cuisine because i know how reactive my stomach can be. I'm also excited about meeting new friends, though most if them are short term friends because we rarely meet later but the memories are always beautiful making friends in another country.
The most exciting part about exploring nearby countries is the sense of adventure that comes with it. There's always this excitement in setting off into the unknown, in not knowing exactly what you'll find or where the journey will take you to and what will come out if it afterwards. So I'm always excited to embrace the unexpected, seizing the moment, and embracing the spirit of adventure that lies within me since i was a kid.
The final excitement is definitely spending the country's currency and also understand how it works. I had few opportunities to spend my currency which I converted to Tanzania currency.
excitement comes from traveling and exploring other countries close by and it brings me joy I can't really explain. It's always magical leaving my country to a country nearby to experience all they have to offer.
