En esta ocasión, deseo compartirles un trabajo que es especial para mí porque le di un toque muy personal y diferente a su apariencia original. Se trata del dragón evolución tipo fuego, a quien se me ocurrió crear mezclando lo animal con lo humano en un dragón bebé. Lo especial de este dibujo radica en una película que vi cuando era niño y que quedó grabada en mi mente. Trataba de un gran dragón al que todos temían por su apariencia, pero la realidad es que él era temeroso y muy cariñoso.
On this occasion, I want to share with you a work that is special to me because I gave it a very personal and different touch to its original appearance. It is about the fire type evolution dragon, who I came up with the idea of creating by mixing the animal with the human in a baby dragon. The special thing about this drawing lies in a movie that I saw when I was a child and that remained engraved in my mind. It was about a great dragon that everyone feared because of his appearance, but the reality is that he was fearful and very affectionate.
A partir de allí, salió mi versión de este personaje. Decidí eliminar esa parte ruda y lo transformé en algo más amigable, tanto que parece angelical. Mi objetivo fue destacar su lado tierno y vulnerable, presentándolo como un bebé dragón encantador que invita a ser protegido y amado en lugar de temido.
From there, my version of this character came out. I decided to eliminate that rough side and transformed him into something more friendly, so much so that he seems angelic. My goal was to highlight his tender and vulnerable side, presenting him as a charming baby dragon that invites to be protected and loved instead of feared.
El proceso de creación de esta ilustración fue muy gratificante. Trabajé con el estilo chibi, que me permitió añadir una dimensión lúdica y adorable al personaje. Los detalles suaves y las expresiones inocentes fueron clave para transmitir la esencia que quería capturar. Además, los colores cálidos y brillantes ayudaron a resaltar su naturaleza amigable y angelical.
The process of creating this illustration was very rewarding. I worked with the chibi style, which allowed me to add a playful and adorable dimension to the character. The soft details and innocent expressions were key to conveying the essence I wanted to capture. In addition, the warm, bright colors helped to bring out her friendly, angelic nature.
Espero que esta fanart versión chibi les agrade tanto como a mí me gustó crearla. Quise rendir homenaje a esa película que dejó una huella en mi infancia y, al mismo tiempo, mostrar que incluso las criaturas más temibles pueden tener un lado dulce y tierno.
I hope you like this fanart chibi version as much as I liked creating it. I wanted to pay homage to that movie that left a mark on my childhood and, at the same time, show that even the scariest creatures can have a sweet and tender side.
