Malicious Foliage : Eliminate Hazardous Flora

in voilk •  last month

The Anomaly is buzz with news from visiting travellers. They whispered stories of malicious foliage lashing out at unwary explorers, damaging flesh and equipment alike. Nada and Polo sympathize with their travellers friends, and seek a crew of biological agents to help cull this troublesome threat. Although I am not in a crew, I am available to help them to eliminate hazardous flora. I accepted the mission from the Nexus in the Space Anomaly and ready to face the poisonous flora.

After I received the mission information and coordinates from Nexus today, I left the space anomaly. For the mission this time, I need to warp to a distant system instead of being located in the system I'm in now.

After a while, I arrived at the system determined by Nexus for me to explore. This system is called Nistaoiri in Euclid's Galaxy and is located 666,696 light years from the galactic core. There are five planets and one moon in the system occupied by the Korvax race. I was the first explorer to find this system.

By using a sophisticated spacecraft scanner system, the location of flora hazards is identified. It is located on Planet Igho III, a planet detected as having stellar corruption. With a speed of 70 u/s, it is expected to arrive in 10 hours, a tiring journey without the pulse engine technology.

I landed safely on the planet's surface. The spacecraft's scanner shows an external temperature reading of 20.6 degrees Celsius. The planet is experiencing Azure Storms, which is extreme weather. The planet's atmosphere appears reddish.

Wasting no time, I summoned my pet and then rode it into the air. We fly slowly, enjoying the unique atmosphere and surroundings of this planet at night. We were looking for fallen traveler signature nearby. It was a unique adventure.

The fallen traveller's log seems to mentioned the floral infestation, but holds no further clues. I scouted to locate the hazardous flora.

I was needed to eliminate eleven hazardous flora. The first one I discovered was the Eastliea. A normal mining laser can kill it.

While searching for more dangerous flora, I discovered a flying creature called Herbocsum. This creature flies and emits so much smoke or gas that it obscures the view. It flies in groups. But it doesn't gave me any harm so I leave it. They seem having so much fun!

Not long after walking around looking for hazardous flora, I ran into Thiefesentus. It looks like a biological entity but actually it is plant life. It looks cute, but the gas released from it is very toxic and capable of killing.

I continued my adventure on foot, then I came across MS Invincible Jonami, a crashed freighter—not invincible now. I went into the crashed freighter and found only residual goop, a pulsating, foul-smelling goop that builds up in poorly-maintained machinery. It's junk, so I left the crashed freighter and continued my journey, looking for hazardous flora.

In this adventure, I came across the knowlegde stone, two in close proximity, feeling very lucky. It is a step to getting to know the Korvax language more deeply.

Shortly after that, I managed to eliminate all eleven hazardous flora. Before returning to the Space Anomaly, I managed to take some pictures of the scenery on this planet.

I discovered an Ancient Building. My knowledge of the Korvax Convergence increase after interacting with the building.

If you read this far, I would like to thank you a so much. Thank you for your attention and support, it means a lot to me. That's all for today, see you in the next adventure of No Man's Sky. Have a nice day. Goodbye!
