Greetings Hivers! I recently purchased a new Vivo Y18 phone online, and I've been using it to rekindle my passion for macro photography. I used to take macro photos with an old Canon camera from work or my daughter's old iPod Touch 6th, and it's been fun to get back into this hobby with my new phone. I'm excited to share some of the beautiful photos I've taken.
Taking macro shots with a phone can be challenging, particularly if your phone's focus is slow.
The sun was already shining brightly by 9 AM when I took these photos, making it difficult to see if I had captured them correctly.
Here are the photos that I captured using my new phone
Chilis
The chili seeds were exposed because the covering was missing. It had likely been eaten by a chicken or had become overripe.
Bitter gourd flowers
Insects and ants were crawling around the beautiful yellow flowers of the bitter-gourd plant my husband planted in our front yard.
Frog
I spotted a cute frog perched in our lemon tree. It sat perfectly still while I took its picture. I think it must be the kind of frog that jumps high!

Wildflowers
I stumbled upon this lovely wildflower while wandering around the bush near my house. I'm not sure what kind of flower it is, but I enjoy exploring the area because I frequently find beautiful blooms like this one.
Makahia(Tickle-Me plant)
The makahia plant, with its cute flower and beautiful color, was another lovely find in the bush area.
Last but not the least
Raindrops
I took a photo of crystal-like raindrops on a banana leaf. This is one of my favorite subjects to photograph, especially after it rains.
Ending thoughts
Taking macro shots with my phone is both a relaxing hobby and a challenging stress reliever.
