Looking forward to next summer for some MilkyWay Photography

Last year I started taking some pictures of the Milky way and I am happy that the pictures turned out great and this year I definitely plan to take some more pictures of our home galaxy. Unfortunately there are only few spots left here in Austria that are suitable to take some pictures of the stars. Most of the spots are already so much poluted with artificial light from cities, and then also the weather has to be fine without clouds so the milky way is visible. Then you also need a lens that is able to catch a lot of light with a big Aperture and also a wide angle. Because the wider the angle the longer you can expose the picture without getting startrails.
