I checked the new cards I bought from the Glint Shop and reviewed which cards I have already completed.
For the Common Cards, I’ve collected all the available cards in the Glint Shop for every element.
In the Rare Element category, I still need a few cards: Drybone Megalodon from the Fire Element, Commander Slade from the Water Element, and Chaos Adjutant from the Neutral Element.
Among these, the one I really want to get is Commander Slade from the Water Element. That’s why, during my last purchase at the Glint Shop, I only used my excess Glint to buy a Rare card.
Last time, I prioritized getting an Epic Card because I was worried I might not get a good Rare card or the one I wanted.
When I checked the available Epic Cards at the Glint Shop, I noticed that the cards were really good. I didn’t have much Glint at that time, just enough to buy one Epic card.
The one I got was Halfling Refugee. At first, I wasn’t excited about it, but when I started using it in games, I realized it’s a great filler since it only costs 1 mana to play, which made me happy.
This card works well under the following rulesets:
- Equal Opportunity
- Maneuvers
- Melee Mayhem
- Super Sneak
This is because it can attack from any position.
After checking the level-up of this card, I liked it even more because it gains a healing ability at level 3. However, I need to earn a lot of Glint before I can upgrade this card to level 3.
I haven’t seen how the Weary Ability works yet, I haven't noticed if it gets executed during battles.
Next on my wishlist are Khazi Conjurer, Thanalorian Blade, or Olivia of the Brook.
When I browsed the Legendary cards, a few caught my eye, but it will take some time before I can get them since I want to prioritize the Epic cards I want. If I had to choose the first Legendary card I’d like to have, it would be Emberguard, which has 2 magic attack points and the Demoralize ability.
If you also want to enjoy playing Splinterlands, you can click my banner with the referral link. You can try the game in free-to-play mode first, but if you want to earn while playing, you need to buy a Spellbook which costs only $10. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this game because I’ve been playing it for over 2 years and I still haven’t gotten tired of it.
