By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.
No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️
Mi Diario: 3 noviembre 2024 // My Diary: November 3 2024 by @palomap3
Hola querido hiver.
Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #19[Eng/Esp] by @mercmarg
A significant part of the world's population suffers from depression, what do you think is the most important thing that helps these people to fight depression? The issue of depression worldwide is already a public health issue, where it is observed that each country in their health centers can treat people who manifest this type of disease. Now, it is how each country collaborates to control this type of disease to those who suffer from it. Because it is silent, sometimes we do not know what is going on in the head of the people around us, we do not see the thoughts, when there is the possibility of realizing it is already when the person is in a big situation, with a lost look and without knowing what is happening to him. Sometimes they say: I don't know what is happening to me, I don't feel well
Restoring Lost Light by @abenad
People say they don’t understand why others battle depression because social media comedy is enough to take your sorrows away. That baffles my mind because there’s so much oxygen but asthmatic patients need inhalers. There’s so much sunlight during the day, yet people need glasses to see. What about that? Over here in my country, people literally make silly comments anytime someone comes out to talk about their mental health
Don't look down in the face of depression [Eng-Esp] by @cajiro
It is impressive and at the same time very alarming the prominence that depression has gained in our present time. Previously, this was only considered in an advanced stage of our life or before some deep and significant event that has affected us, but the reality is that today depression is more common than we think. At times, even I have had to stop and think if there are any traits of depression that threaten my mental and emotional stability, and I think such questions can also help those who are facing their own battles. What can I do to win the battle? by Don't isolate yourself
Catching The Uncaught Thought by @atma.love
A Beginner Meditation Technique I learned this beginnermeditation technique during a Revelation of the Spiritual Heart meditation retreat at in Mazunte, Mexico. the Uncaught Thought is one of several meditation techniques taught by Sahajananda, the founder of Hridaya Yoga. It is a particularly useful meditation technique for beginners as it brings awareness of both the breath and the thoughts whilst indicating to the practitioner how he or she is progressing. This technique is best used at the beginning of a meditation, for the first 5 to 10 minutes to help bring awareness to breath and thoughts. After 5 10 minutes you can drop the counting & continue with whatever meditation practice you normally use
Spend time doing more fulfilling things. by @kenechukwu97
It's wild to even imagine the number of things people whine and complain about just because they believe those stuff are offensive and all. You hear people like that give a big rant about a comedy clip and about opinions shared by folks in Interviews and podcasts. What's even weird is that the same people who know what they don't enjoy still tune in to listen to those things. Then, you get mad about what they say because they sound offensive. What's next?
Finding The Balance #HPUD by @fredaa
Image by @hivebuzz Hello guys, Happy New Month; welcome to the month of November; the year is gradually coming to an end; scratch that; it is flying by, and at this time, most people are taking stock of their lives to see what they have been able to achieve for this year. It's another Hive Power Up Day, a day when we get to give back to the Hive community. We keep taking and taking from the blockchain; today is one of the days we actually get to give back. Powering up today was a bit tough, as I didn't have so much hive to power up with, so I first powered up 14 Hive. Then I was able to convert some HBD to Hive and got some more 16 Hive that I was able to power up
