Running an errand in the city has been dreadfully tiresome due to weather's not in favor of our trip. Philippines is a tropical country that's why we are experiencing such heat and it's immensely torturing us the whole day of travel. Others would jump on the bandwagon like going somewhere for a cold treat but for me, drinking water then find a suitable place to relax and relieve my damaged sense of being would be as right as rain. As we head back home, and it's already beyond 4 o'clock, I requested my husband to stop in a beach so we can have a short walk to loosen up and do some stretching for a whole day of traveling from the city.
We have landed to Catmon's beach. It is a public beach resort that anyone can enjoy its view and freely dip into its refreshing water. With this, I was able to destress and have a solemn walk by the sea.
It's tranquility brings joy to my heart as I found solace from within. The blue sky mirrored its blue sea where they meet from the horizon. From where I stand, the endless possibilities of meeting two things beyond. Do they really meet at the endline of the earth?
It's shoreline was made of hard rocks with black sand on it. As observed, palm trees cut, unhealthy, and worst brought down due to devastating typhoon hit last year. The sea has been a witness of the daily changes of everything surrounding them.
Summer is fast approaching yet we are experiencing it now. Its summer vibe yet screaming for peace and serenity. Nothing compares the countryside that almost everything is free.
Catmon is known for its number of trees along the shore. Some resort would fence their property and yet palm trees are used as a fence or beautify them to add attraction to the resort. Commonly, traveling by motorcycle can be more tiresome that's why people stop here for a winding retreat. It is located along the road so it's accessible to many.
I have been recharged and ready to face another challenge in life. My eyes and soul have been refueled by the tranquility consumed by my inner me. My thoughts have been fed up and now it clears everything. I longed for this before like a quiet and peaceful place, just like this.
Fallen trees along the shore have a big impact on me as it portraying the outcome of the devastating typhoon hit here in north. It wasn't removed nor cursed by beach goers instead they love how it had been fallen.
