Got to the local gym early this morning before an unusual busy Friday at work. I was feeling energized and strong so I found myself adding weight after the first set of almost every exercise whoch surpised me. I could not complete my target rep at the third set but got close. I have been wanting to try this concept of training to exhaustion so let’s see how that helps although it will not become my standard. My focus remain on mixing up the routines and trying my strength more often.
Started and ended the workout on the treadmill but not as long as I typically go for as I had to get to my first meetings. I tried to make it up by pacing between meetings but still found myself pacing at home this evening to accomplish my daily goal. While I am happy that the weekend is here, I have so much to do at home before another busy week that it will be a challenge. However, some time off is coming up which should help me get back into focus on some of these endeavors.
