Today I woke up somewhat inspired. I sat down at the piano with the peculiar idea of composing something for my thumbs, a strange motive, right? It just appeared in my head... I didn't rationalize it further, I just let myself be carried away by inspiration.
This is how the "Dance of the Thumbs" emerged; swing of my thumbs. From the beginning to the end of the piece, the alternating movement, the back and forth, is present.
The timid melody observes that nostalgic dance from afar, regretfully fearing a tragic end... Is that dance of the thumbs a representation of life itself?

Hoy amanecí algo inspirado. Me senté frente al piano con la peculiar idea de componer algo para mis pulgares, un extraño motivo ¿no? simplemente apareció en mi cabeza... no lo racionalicé más, sólo me deje llevar por la inspiración.
Así surgió la "Danza de los Pulgares"; vaivén de mis pulgares. Desde el comienzo hasta el final de la pieza está presente el movimiento alterno, el vaivén.
La tímida melodía observa desde lejos aquella danza nostálgica, pesarosa teme trágico final... ¿Acaso es esa danza de los pulgares una representación de la vida misma?
