I saw a post on instagram by "relatableinsider" and it kind of inspired the song I chose today. I was listening to particular playlist I made that contained some of my favourite songs of all time.

Do you ever listen to a song and remember exactly what life was like when you first heard it?

Litening to SNAP by ROSA LINN again, I remembered the first time I heard it and what I was going through at the time. I had a misunderstanding with someone I really cared about (not what you are thinking) and I kept overthinking the whole thing. I just could not get it out of my head and I really wished there was a button I could press that would switch off all the noise in my head. Caring too much has been like a weakness and it has been my strength a couple of times too, ngl. It didn't even matter if I was not at fault, it was just stuck in my head and I couldn't get it to stop. I wss sad a lot and I wish I could actually snap a finger and stop everything.

So, everytime I hear this song, that memory comes back to my head and funny enough, I have so many songs attached to different memories. I am sure that happens to a lot of people, because music generally holds a lot of memories.

So, let's get to the real thing...

Snap by Rosa Linn is a song she wrote about her journey through heartbreak and people just telling her to get over it by snapping a finger and making everything dissapear, which was not possible for her to do easily. I think it is easy for other people to advice you when they are not the ones going through the things you are going through. Healing is a process and it definitely takes times too, and this vary from one person to another. Going through any sort of heartbreak can be a whole lot of pain and you'd wish you could change the hands of time and prevent it from happening to begin with.

This song is about someone's pain and feelings but it didn't stop it from being an amazing and beautiful song. Accordidng to an interview by the artist, she said the song was a form of therapy for her to get through heartbreak. It is very subtle and if you have not heard this song before, you should definitely check it out.
