Think a little bit about your life, about how you have lived the year that is ending. Do you identify any aspects that have been left behind? Are you still dreaming of something you haven't achieved?
As the year draws to a close, it's important to take a step back and reflect on the past 12 months. Think about how you've lived, what you've accomplished, and what's still pending. This introspection can help you identify areas that have been left behind and rekindle dreams that remain unfulfilled.
I take a moment to ponder on these questions
- What were my goals and aspirations at the beginning of the year?
- Which ones did I achieve, and which ones fell by the wayside?
- Are there any relationships, hobbies, or passions that I have neglected or put on hold?
- Am I still holding onto dreams or desires that I haven't yet pursued?
Reflecting on these questions has helped me gain clarity on what's truly important to me and what I want to achieve in this new year.
At the beginning of last year I wanted to get two of my makeup tools which is a light and a make-up chair, getting this chair will always make my work easier anytime I have a client outside my studio, I write it down as one of my goals in the beginning of the year but rounding up the year and I couldn't get the chair because the price I budgeted for it skyrocketed more than I can imagine so I was unable to achieve all of my goals in year 2024.
The previous years were one of it kind, In the aspect of my field I upgraded myself, learning more about make-up, I registered myself for a 14-week class to improve my skills, and achieving this is my joy in this previous year, I was glad that I made it, it wasn't an easy task waking up early and attending a class from 8 in the morning till 5 in the evening, at first I thought I couldn't do it because I can never abandon my studio and fully focus on other things but as the time continues I began to develop more interest and achieve the best out of it, it was a dream come true for me.

Not everyone can be able to achieve all their goals but at least try your best and achieve 80% of it if not all, some challenges arise which make me neglect buying my make-up chair, it is something I must attend to and very urgent at that, I diverted the fund into something else but I never regretted doing that, though it made me slip from my target.
In this new year, I must reconnect back with my abandoned goals since I have identified the obstacles that hindered me from achieving them in the previous year
Also this year, I will rekindle motivation and enthusiasm for pursuing my dreams Because I have set realistic and achievable goals for the new year
As I look back on the past year, I see that it's never too late to make a change or pursue a long-held dream. The ending of one year marks the beginning of another, filled with new possibilities and opportunities.
