Today we had a nice little walk in the evening. After a pretty busy day at work, I came home and cooked dinner. And after we sat down and ate dinner, my wife and I went on a nice walk. I was able to catch a good picture of this sunset.
I was also able to catch this picture. Do you see that little squiggly line that looks something like smoke? It's actually a huge flock of geese. It was crazy how fast they were going. Those are some impressive birds. All in all, I had a great walk.
I finished the day today with over 11,000 steps. I also had 70 active minutes and 12 flights of stairs. I owe a lot of that to the walk because before that I only had like 4000 steps.
Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. The song for today was What It's Like by Everlast. I like this song as it presents a strong case for empathy. I think we can all benefit from having empathy for people in other circumstances. If you haven't heard the song, I suggest you go listen.
Well that's it for tonight. Tomorrow's goal is 10000 steps and low carb.
