Hello everyone!
It's been a while since my last post here in the community. We held our Foundation Week at school last week and the tasks are overloaded. With this, I'll be sharing my greatest experience in dancing that we achieved last foundation week.
In my dancing experience, I never had experienced going home with a championship trophy in my heart. But this year is a different story I can tell. With our best dance instructor, we reigned victorious. The feeling is really good and overwhelming really. But behind that are restless days and tiring nights that all of us had to conquer in order to achieve the victory we deserve. That also includes all of the hardships and the willingness to perform not just for the department where we are studying but also for ourselves knowing that this is where we excel the most.
On the day of the competition, tensions are really getting high and everyone is feeling the thrill. Yet, we believed that we can and we will do what we must and what we had worked hard for. Also, we faced stronger opponents which is the other courses/departments in our school. Awesome dance performances rocked the school's activity center. Different steps and choreographies battled in to the same floor to prove which department deserves to hold the title of the Best in Choreography.
After we had battled using our very own dance and choreographies, the announcement of winners gave the thrilling vibe to the area. Yet, something unexpected occurred during the tension. At first, we were declared as 1st placers and the Champion title belongs to the other department. Things changed when the emcee declared that there has been a mistake and a reversal will be announced.

And at the slightest and unexpected moment, our department was declared champion and the previous department declared as the champion is the 1st placer. The group shouted with joy in their hearts and happiness in our faces. That was really an epic comeback.
We held the trophy of Champions with pride. Knowing that we deserve the defending title of Champions since last year of 2023. Indeed, it was really overwhelming and joyful for us after defending the title very well.
Knowing that this us one big achievement that our group had attained, we promised to ourselves to perform even greater for the next upcoming events that includes dance competition. With that, I will also promise to myself that I'll improve even more in order for me to be a great dancer.
