My favorite snack odading is very popular in my area, but what happens if this time odading has a filling of fresh jackfruit. Of course this is a new dish for me, because I usually enjoy odading plain without any filling. Now with this jackfruit, it makes me more curious and of course makes the dish different.
Odading itself is actually very similar to fried bread, but odading is usually enjoyed with sesame sprinkles, and of course this bread already has a sweet taste. Well odading this time I added pieces of jackfruit, in addition to having a different aroma jackfruit makes odading has a varied taste. More fresh and certainly enough to make you like it.
Well this is my first experience making this odading, usually I enjoy my sister's homemade results. And if there is a messy shape, you have to understand because the first experiment will not always be beautiful, right? Hehe let's see the recipe!.
Ingredients Needed
60 grams of powdered sugar
2 tablespoons margarine
1 tablespoon instant yeast
75 ml warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
sesame seeds to taste
50 gram jackfruit
Making Procedure
Activate the yeast, prepare lukewarm water, then mix sugar and fermipan in the warm water, stir until evenly distributed and leave for 10 minutes until the yeast is active.
While waiting for the yeast, prepare flour and also powdered sugar in a container, stirring both.
After the yeast is active, stir until evenly distributed, then add to the flour slowly while kneading.
If it is evenly mixed, add maegarin and also salt knead again until the dough is smooth.
Then rest the dough for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
Then after an hour and it has risen deflate the dough and grind it.
Next, cut the jackfruit into small squares and then, add one tablespoon of flour and stir until evenly distributed.
Add the jackfruit pieces on top of the flattened dough.Then cover the dough and flatten again and then cut into elongated squares.

Brush with water and add a sprinkling of sesame seeds on the surface of the odading do until all are finished. Then let stand for 15 minutes covered with a cloth.
Fry the odading until golden brown, drain and serve at leisure.
Result
Odading jackfruit is ready to enjoy, serve it while warm will be better, the texture is very soft with a very distinctive aroma of jackfruit. The combination of the softness of jackfruit makes this dish very delicious, especially there is a delicious savory taste from the sesame sprinkles. The sweetness was just right, not overpowering and just right for my taste buds.
This odading snack is my first choice if I feel the need to enjoy a home-cooked snack.
