I'm always on the lookout for new tunes, especially now when I'm about to write exams and need music more than ever to help calm my mind after a rather disheartening reading session or before an extremely intimidating exam.
Well I'm here now and two of these scenarios are happening as I'm writing this and at such I'm in need of listening to some calming songs.
So my Deezer introduced me to them.
The Macarons Project
From the city of Vancouver this indie style two person band are well known for their remixes of iconic song, releasing them in a more calmer, different approach, yet all the more beautiful 😍.
I first came across them on Instagram when Tryon to find a song that'll go with one of my pictorial stories. I played the tune, loved it but didn't pay it any mind because it wasn't what I was looking for.
Yet I've seen them now and I realize this isn't just a one of remix duo, they're in it for the long haul.

I feel this is their most enjoyable of remixes yet. Ree's voice hit all the notes and yet made it far more calmer, then Ditto's guitar was simply wonderful.
Baring the original song melody to just the bass and a few strings brings a new form of beauty to the song that one must admit, accept and appreciate ✨
- Just The Two Of Us.
The Original song by Bill Weather's and Grover Washington Jr was wonderful. Sensational even, it was something that when you listened to it, it stuck in your head.
This one's worse. Slow, calm and easy to get emotional about. At this point it's no longer a song, it's a journey ✨.
- Fly Me To The Moon
This is a song that's all about playing with your imagination and creativity with your loved one.
I really don't have to say more, just listen...
