Calamity In the Air

Social media is a place where things happen, a place where we get both quick news and fake news. There are so many social media platforms, some of which are flooded with members, while others are just limited. Facebook is one of the social media things that happens so fast. Most people focused their earnings on social media, especially YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. I even heard that WhatsApp has started monetization, although I haven’t seen it happening.

Everyone who has a phone (browsing phone) must know how to operate social media. Everyone wants to make their name show on social media. We search social media to get facts about recent and past events. It serves as a place where we can do any form of research.

Children of younger ages would be able to operate social media even better than we, the adults.

Taking the rules that social media have, the children of nowadays can even teach you and show you what one must do to abide by the rules. Most of them can even show you how to jump over the rules by passing some easiest ways.

In schools, we have different courses that exclude social media. I was talking to someone some days ago, and he said that once you are a journalist, you can be able to talk more about social media. I was so sharp in responding to him that even the youth of nowadays can tell that journalist more about the impact of social media on our lives. They have better knowledge than anyone else.

Bringing social media as a course in the universities would not sound so well, as it has been known before now how social media have been flooded with different people from around the globe, some of whom are making hell of money while others are just growing.

In the schools, lecturers can teach you to understand any forms of courses, but in the realm of social media, no one can teach anyone to a better understanding except if one just needed a calamity in the class. Such a class would not be peaceful; instead, it would be noisy. No lecturer can be capable enough to teach social media as a course in the school.

Other courses like your music and the like are still better taught in the school just because of the vast knowledge one needs to go through before knowing the different areas in the field of music. Music still has a lot in it when compared to social media. Who does not know how to upload pictures or documents on social media platforms? Even a child of lesser years knows how to interact with people on social media just because he or she has an Android phone.

I can bet you that no student would choose social media as a course in the university even when it has been incorporated.

Now, if it is incorporated in the universities, the classes would be rowdy, whereby no one would love to listen to his or her lecturer. They would rather picture how the class is being run and posted on social media platforms. The truth is that everyone knows how social media is being run, and so listening in such a class would be tough.
