His reputation preceded him, he was the best doctor in the whole country and articles of all kinds were written about him, but always praising him. He was the best of his graduation and his parents were proud of his achievements. But there was something that did not make him happy, something that neither his perfect reputation nor his hundreds of recognitions saved him. So much time spent trying to be the best made his life focused only on his work, pushing away the personal. He lived to work, with no time for friends or love, and that was what he wanted most, what he wanted most. He would trade it all to love and to know what it is to love, but no one felt they could measure up or come close, and perhaps that's why he blamed his reputation.
