Anime, a Japanese term for "animation" is known for its complex and mature storylines, captivating adults. Anime is more mature than cartoons, adults watch anime but cartoons, are made mostly for kids, and It is known for its complex storytelling. Its major audience is young and mature adults
Anime has a wide range of genres like romance, action, and drama, anime explores dark and serious themes, mostly featuring complex plots and unexpected twists. That's why I think anime is pretty cool.
Cartoons
On the other hand, cartoons are mostly for children's entertainment, focused on straightforward storytelling and light humor. Cartoons target a younger audience, While some cartoons may appeal to adults, their focus remains on children's enjoyment.
One of the major differences between anime and cartoons is their storytelling approach and their duration and format. Anime unfolds gradually, with each episode building suspense upon the previous one, creating a beautiful experience.
Anime always has many seasons, with each season containing many episodes. Sometimes I think it's even too much lol. Cartoons, on the other hand, are usually standalone movies.
Anime and cartoons cater to different audiences and have a unique storytelling experience. While anime focuses on complex themes and mature storylines, cartoons focus on light entertainment for young viewers.
