Health is important. But why don't many of us like to go to the doctor? Is it because we don't like being sick or being told we might be sick? I don't know.
What is true is that some health care places become places where it is difficult to associate them with positive things. For example, the poor lighting, the old furnishings, the need for touch-up paint makes you want to be there only as long as you need to be there.
Has anyone ever proposed that health care facilities should have some innovative features? It would be great to have good lighting, air conditioning, free WiFi for patients, coffee, comfortable and modern furnishings. I think the experience of going to the doctor would be different.
Maybe the reason why we don't have things like that is that we need quiet when we are sick and it is a study and evaluation area. But maybe there is an amalgam of the best of both situations somewhere in the world right now.

La salud es algo importante. Pero, ¿por qué a muchos no nos gusta ir al médico? ¿Será porque no nos gusta estar enfermos o que nos digan que pudiéramos estarlo? No sé.
Lo cierto es que algunos lugares de atención de salud se vuelven lugares en los que es difícil asociarlos con cosas positivas. Por ejemplo, la poca iluminación, los mobiliarios viejos, la necesidad de retoques de pintura hace que quieras estar allí sólo el tiempo necesario.
¿Alguien ha propuesto alguna vez que los centros de atención medica gocen de algunas características innovadores? Sería genial contar con buena iluminación, aire acondicionado, WiFi libre para los pacientes, café, mobiliarios cómodos y modernos. Creo que la experiencia de ir al médico sería diferente.
Tal vez la razón del por qué no contamos con cosas así es que necesitamos tranquilidad cuando estamos enfermos y es un área de estudio y evaluación. Pero tal vez exista una amalgama de lo mejor de ambas situaciones en algún lugar del mundo ahora mismo.
