above Solang Manali
Julley Everyone,
Staterd an expedition unknown, had no idea about the trails or the routes all that we knew was the top of the Rohtang and Manali Solang Gaun. We had very little knowledge about the peak Mt. Patalsu where we were headed to... Flocktails related to the heavenly pathway was too considered as this place.
and here we begin.
Beginnings.
It was around 8 AM in the Morning. Still had been out started our journey quite early as waking up at 4:30 and reaching this place. It was the land above Solang Gaun above the Solang Nahhal Village considered as the last Village of Manali where people used to live as even life being so harsh during the winter season temperature dipping even down to -10 C .
It was the land that we reached, Un-named seemed untouched to from the past few days. The Morning sunrise and the sunshine blessed us with the warmth and unique essence of Positivity and filled ourselves.
Also the last woods.
Calling it the first step to the Patalsu Peak as it was the first campsite where the people who used to hike and trek till the summit of the peak even sometimes used to pitch their 'Deera' tents over this place. Naming it the first steps.
Found the heavenly trail.
Keeping the directions in mind and constantly checking the right directions finally led us to reach the trails to Mt. Patalsu.
Even the locals told us to keep the right direction in mind as a single wrong step to led us to another world or the another side of the mountain. During the summers season this place is mostly covered with the clouds making it difficult to see the pathway in front of us which even leads to mis direction.
We were quite lucky enough that the weather was crystal clear as wven we planned to summit the peak during the early fall season before the first snowfall making the whole valley crystal clear visible. Maybe it was the clearest time that one would have explore the place in such a clarity. I tried to capture each and every detail in the photos that to of different angles and perspectives so that you guys could even experience the true picture of the same and see the unseen Himalayas.
Chopped Logs.
It had been quite a while since we started our journey from the first steps and reached this place of 'Challnis.'- in local language the logger, lumberjacks who used to chop the timber and from logs. It was quite strange to see the chopped logs just collected at sides. As they seemed quite hard, heavy and frozen too.
These pieces of logs were wuite heavy and felt froze as I tried to go closer to it as it made me wonder.
After walking qute further away again we saw the bits of logs. The mysterious ones.
Though it was the end of summer season and the beginning of fall season the extreme winters this heavenly place was srill filled up with the colourful wild flowers.
The Last Trees.
So thats all for today guys. I hope you liked it.
Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
