Mad Hatter Makeup
I've always loved experimenting with makeup, and this time I wanted to challenge myself by recreating the iconic look of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. It was a fun and detailed process, so here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how I achieved this transformation.
Skin Preparation
Before starting, I prepped my skin with moisturizer to ensure the makeup lasted longer. Then, I applied a white body paint base all over my face, blending it well to achieve a smooth, even finish and that theatrical touch characteristic of the character.
Bold Brows & Vibrant Eyeshadow
The Mad Hatter's eyebrows are a crucial detail, so I drew them thick and bold to add more expression to the look. Then, I moved on to the eyes:
- On the right eye, I applied blue eyeshadow on the outer V and a shimmer shade of the same tone on the inner corner.
- On the left eye, I followed the same process but used pink eyeshadow to maintain the character’s signature asymmetry.
For extra depth, I applied different colors to the lower lash line:
- Right eye: orange eyeshadow.
- Left eye: purple eyeshadow.
Dramatic Blush & Special Contour
Blush is a key element in this makeup, so I mixed pink and purple eyeshadows to achieve that dramatic, eye-catching flush the Mad Hatter is known for. I also used the same color combination to contour my nose and further enhance my facial features.
Final Touches
To make the eyes pop even more, I used white eyeliner and applied white false lashes, giving the look a magical and theatrical effect.
For the lips, I outlined them with a purple lip liner, filled them in with a fuchsia lipstick, and added a touch of purple gloss for extra volume and shine.
The Mad Hatter’s Signature Touch
To complete the look, I tied a bow around my neck and curled my hair, fully embracing the Mad Hatter's eccentric and whimsical essence.
Recreating this makeup was an incredible experience, and I loved every part of the transformation!

Maquillaje del Sombrerero Loco
Siempre me ha encantado experimentar con el maquillaje, y esta vez quise retarme recreando el icónico look del Sombrerero Loco de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas. Fue un proceso divertido y detallado, así que aquí te cuento paso a paso cómo logré esta transformación.
Preparación de la piel
Antes de empezar, preparé bien mi piel con hidratante para que el maquillaje durara más tiempo. Luego, apliqué una base de pintura corporal blanca por todo mi rostro, asegurándome de difuminarla bien para lograr un acabado uniforme y darle ese toque teatral característico del personaje.
Cejas llamativas y sombras vibrantes
Las cejas del Sombrerero son un detalle crucial en su look, así que las dibujé gruesas y robustas para darle más expresión a la mirada. Luego, pasé a los ojos:
• En el ojo derecho, usé sombra azul en la V externa y una sombra shimmer del mismo tono en la parte interna.
• En el ojo izquierdo, seguí el mismo procedimiento, pero con sombra rosa para mantener la asimetría del personaje.
Para darle más profundidad al maquillaje, en el párpado inferior:
• Coloqué sombra naranja en el ojo derecho.
• Usé sombra morada en el ojo izquierdo.
Rubor y contorno especial
El rubor es un elemento clave en este maquillaje, así que mezclé sombra rosa y morada para conseguir ese blush dramático y llamativo que caracteriza al Sombrerero. También utilicé la misma combinación de tonos para contornear la nariz y resaltar aún más el rostro.
Detalles finales
Para darle el toque final a los ojos, hice un delineado con delineador blanco, lo que ayudó a resaltar aún más la mirada. Apliqué pestañas blancas, lo que le dio un efecto mágico y teatral.
En los labios, usé un lápiz morado para delinear, rellené con un labial fucsia y añadí un toque de gloss morado para dar volumen y brillo.
El toque del Sombrerero
Para completar el look, me coloqué un moño en el cuello y me hice unos rizos en el cabello, logrando así la esencia excéntrica y encantadora del personaje.
