Good day everyone! This is going to be 16th week of the Hive Learners Prominent Author Of The Week campaign.
So What is The Prominent Author of The Week About?
The aim of the Prominent Author of the Week is to reward five great contents of authors shared from our weekly prompts in the community. This way, we get to encourage authors to be more active and try to be the best they can be in their content creation.
How Would The Initiative Run?
- 5 Posts/Authors would be selected from the weekly prompts (including creative sunday posts) every week
- Every Thursday night, we would be sharing announcements for the five winning authors
- All five selected authors would be rewarded with 1 Hive each
The Tale Of A "Childhood Fear" That Shaped My Adulthood
This author, @merit.ahama takes us back to her childhood to tell us about a time where she allowed herself to be held hostage by a certain kind of fear, one that she thankfully has learnt to overcome during the years.
An oversight, and a tragedy could happen
This author, @michupa talks about a near death experience that they had while driving through a road that they knew like the back of their palm. The author goes further to explain how the whole incident unfolded, while also thanking his stars that it had happened as a place where there was no traffic and fewer cars on the road.
This author, @xlety talks about the two things she fears the most and how they both had affected her life till this day. According to the author, she's scared of being in enclosed places due to her being claustrophobic and always tries to avoid the elevator as much as she can and she's also scared of clowns, but has tried getting help and reducing that fear a bit.
This author, @artbeat, shows us how they were able to make some beautiful drawings on their body, known as Henna. According to the author, Henna are mostly drawn during important celebrations like the Eid. They also did a good job documenting the process of the drawing for us all to see.
Crafting Layers of Flavour: Lasagna recipe
This author, @inshalicious, takes us to their kitchen to show us how they were able to make some delicious Lasagna. The author made sure to carefully explain all the process of the recipe, making it very easy for any one of us to try ourselves at our various homes.
