Enjoying The Sea

Having the opportunity to live near the coast is a huge privilege, but to be in front of the warm tropical waters of the Caribbean Sea every day is really fortunate, since the beaches that are in this area are really beautiful, which gives us the joy of entering and enjoying the most of true earthly paradises.

Disfrutando del Mar

Tener la oportunidad de vivir cerca de la costa es un privilegio enorme, pero encontrarse cotidianamente frente a las cálidas aguas tropicales del Mar Caribe es ser realmente afortunado, puesto que las playas que se encuentran en esta zona son realmente hermosas, lo cual nos brinda la dicha de adentrarnos y disfrutar al máximo de verdaderos paraísos terrenales.

As many of you know I live in the city of Caracas, a capital that is located in the middle of a valley a few kilometers from the coast and although the great mountains separate us from the sea, but thanks to an excellent and modern highway built more than 50 years ago, access to the beaches is done in just 30 minutes, which allowed this valley to become practically a coastal place. Thanks to this proximity my love for the sea became palpable from a very young age, favorite destination and most of my most memorable vacations took place on the sand, under the sun and with the freshness of the sea in front of my eyes.

Como muchos de ustedes saben yo vivo en la ciudad de Caracas, una capital que se encuentra en medio de un valle a pocos kilómetros de la costa y si bien las grandes montañas nos separan del mar, pero gracias a una excelente y moderna autopista construida hace más de 50 años el acceso a las playas se hace en tan solo 30 minutos, lo cual permitió que este Valle se volviera prácticamente en un lugar costero. Gracias a esta cercanía mi amor por el mar se hizo palpable desde muy pequeño, destino favorito y la mayoría de mis vacaciones más memorables se dieron sobre la arena, bajo el sol y con la frescura del mar frente a mis ojos.

It is for this reason that every time I have the opportunity to travel to the coast I enjoy the beach and its surroundings to the fullest, I do not seek only to bathe and sit under the sun to tan my skin, but I like to walk and stroll along these extensive coastlines, to clear my mind, breathe fresh air and calm my heart, no doubt I find it tremendously relaxing to take morning walks and listen to the video of the waves, while the breeze caresses my cheek.

Es por esta razón que cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de viajar a la costa disfruto de la playa y sus alrededores al máximo, no busco solo bañarme y sentarme bajo el sol para broncear mi piel, sino que me gusta caminar y pasear a lo largo de estos extensos litorales, para despejar mi mente, respirar aire puro y tranquilizar mi corazón, sin duda alguna me resulta tremendamente relajante dar paseos mañaneros y escuchar video de las olas, mientras que la brisa acaricia mi mejilla.

Walking on the sand and right on the seashore is an activity that provides catharsis, but at the same time gives us a good physical workout, which gives us greater resistance legs and thighs, which helps us to define some muscles and at the same time improve our cardiovascular health, it is for this reason and the others mentioned above that I live to the fullest every second that I have the opportunity to be in front of the magical sea, From time to time I also take the opportunity to board a fishing boat that takes me to an island paradise, or, on the contrary, that takes me to infinity to share with the fishermen a productive and joyful task, where most of the time I return home with a piece of fish that later becomes a delicious lunch.

Caminar sobre la arena y justo en la orilla del mar es una actividad que brinda catarsis, pero que al mismo tiempo nos regala un buen entrenamiento físico, el cual nos proporciona mayor resistencia piernas y muslos, lo cual nos ayuda a definir algunos músculos y al mismo tiempo mejorar nuestra salud cardiovascular, es por esta razón y las otras antes mencionadas que vivo al máximo cada segundo que tengo la oportunidad de estar frente al mágico mar, de vez en cuando también aprovecho para abordar algún peñero que me conduzca si una isla paradisíaca, o, por el contrario, que me lleve hacia el infinito para compartir junto a los pescadores de una faena productiva y alegre, en donde la mayoría de los casos regreso a casa con alguna pieza de pescado que se convierte posteriormente en un delicioso almuerzo.

Every day I thank God for the gift of life, for making me tremendously happy and for having my family, but at the same time I also thank God for having been born in Venezuela, specifically a few kilometers from the coast, because without a doubt this is a magical place, where life becomes an adventure and where dreams come true.

Todos los días le agradezco a dios por el don de la vida, por hacerme tremendamente feliz y por contar con mi familia, pero al mismo tiempo también agradezco por haber nacido en Venezuela, específicamente a pocos kilómetros de la costa, ya que sin duda este es un lugar mágico, en donde la vida se convierte en una aventura y en donde los sueños se hacen realidad.
