Hello there, black-and-white photography lovers!

On Saturday, we had our last field trip of Flora Cumanensis. It was an exploration of several ecosystems and their plants. As we went by changing from beach, to semi-desert, going back to the beach before getting into some desert and then a forest, we met with some fishers in their duties pulling nets out of the sea into the beach.

I've seen these activities before. However, I never had a camera with me. Looking at them, listening to the orders they give, watching how they make everything as a unit. It was amazing. Having the chance to get some shots during the whole task was even better.

It's an interesting scene. Birds are hanging around waiting for the small fish that get caught but are not taken by the fishers. They even gave some fish to our guide, who's a very respected figure of the zone.

And of course, I had to share some of this magic with you as part of my entry for the #monomad challenge.

¡Bueno día, amantes de las fotografías en blanco y negro!

El sábado pasado tuvimos nuestra última salida de campo del taller Flora Cumanensis Fue una exploración de varios ecosistemas y sus plantas. Mientras íbamos de playa a desierto, de regreso a la playa, de vuelta al desierto y finalmente a un bosque, nos encontramos a unos pescadores que estaban sacando sus redes del agua para ver qué habían atrapado.

He visto esto varias veces. Sin embargo, nunca había tenido una cámara conmigo. Verlos. Escucharlos. Todo fue una experiencia mágina. Desde la órdenes para halar, hasta el acomodo de las redes y los peces al bote al final. Capturar partes del momento fue de lo mejor.

Es una escena muy interesante. Los pájaros esperan por los peces que no se van a llevar. Hasta le dieron unos pescados a nuestro guía que es una persona muy querida en la zona.

Por supuesto, no podían faltar estas fotos por acá como parte de mi participación en el #monomad challenge.
