The Grinch is a great production and an unforgettable experience!
A bad childhood experience could mar the life of an adult as was in the case of Grinch, who struggles with depression and loneliness, becomes an embittered character that hates Christmas and all the mirth that goes with it, all because of a bad childhood experience.
As a Christmas movie, the Grinch is funny, sweet and very entertaining.

In a small town named "Whoville", the humans who lived there called "Whos" are filled with the joy of celebrating Christmas but one person didn’t like Christmas— "Grinch". He was born with a heart that was two sizes too small and lived a solitary life, in a cave with his dog, Max. Flashbacks from his childhood shows he spent it alone and wasn’t wanted in an orphanage home.
He decides to steal Christmas from the people of Whoville. On Christmas Eve, he dresses like Santa Claus and crafts some gadgets to help with his plan. Along with his dog, he goes down to Whoville and steals all the presents and decorations. By morning, the people of whoville wake up and are disappointed that the gifts and decorations are gone but because Christmas isn’t centered on gifts and decorations, the Whos come together to sing "Welcome Christmas". The grinch looking from afar is surprised to see them celebrate Christmas despite stealing their decorations and thinking he'd ruined their celebrations.
Touched by this, his small heart blissfully increases in size. The grinch decides to return the stolen items and with remorse, he admits to what he did and apologizes to the people of Whoville before returning to his cave.
Cindy feeling sorry for the grinch invites him over to her place for dinner. While he was there for dinner, he realizes it wasn’t Christmas he despises but it was his loneliness and the bitterness of rejection. He finally accepts the people of Whoville’s friendship and enjoys Christmas.
I was spellbound by the animation by illumination, it really is topnotch!
A must addition for the whole family, both young and old. Personally, I loved everything about this movie. Beautiful artwork, heartwarming music, I will be giving it a rating of 8/10.
