As individuals, we all have freedom of expression, and our personal styles are important. I have always been an advocate for dressing smart, classy, and beautiful. I get this sense of joy when I see people smartly dressed. I have noticed something annoying that is going on in our society. I do not know if it is the new norm, but young girls find joy in walking around almost naked. I know someone might say it is their life, leave them to dress the way they like, but I personally think something needs to be done about that.
I find indecent dressing disrespectful towards oneself or others, as it can convey a lack of regard for social norms, modesty, or personal dignity. Because of the way some people are dressed, it has also caused negative stereotypes about their physical appearance rather than their character.
I do not know if it is just where I stay, but indecent dressing has contributed to broader societal issues such as sexualization. A few months ago, there was a rape case in my neighborhood, and when the man was arrested and interrogated, he said it was because of the way the lady normally dresses and exposes all parts of her body. While I would not take that as an excuse from the rapist, I think ladies can also do better with the way they dress. Personally, I don't think walking around almost naked depicts class and beauty.
