Creative-sunday : drawing a sunset scene

Good day to everyone and I welcome you all to my blog once more, Sundays are often considered as a day for rest and relaxation, engaging in creative activities can enhance this experience and one of the enjoyable creative activity I love to do on Sundays are drawing and painting. Today I decided to make a painting of a sunset scene and I will be sharing the process of how I made this artwork.

MATERIALS USED

• water colour
• cotton brush
• canvas

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

step I

At the beginning of my painting, I took my yellow and white colour and place it on the canvas

As I continued with my painting, I then painted orange colour up the yellow and queen red under it.

step 3

I then continued with my painting and then I mixed my paint well and then I drew black line at the bottom and on top of it I drew a sun using my yellow and orange colour mixed together.

Here I then drew some palm tree and added some more black paint at the bottom.

In this step, I then added some colour to the lower part and made a reflection of the sun in the lower part.

Then I painted the shadow of the palm tree on the left side of my image and the right side I painted a boat in black colour where two people are sitting and painted its shadow under the boat with light black colour

Then I painted birds in the colour black which are flying in the sky.

Then I made some finishing touches to my painting and then it was now complete.
