This picture is of a journey on a toy train. A toy in the name but this train journey is not only for kids but also for every adult who carries a little bit of his childhood. :)
This memory is from Darjeeling city of West Bengal state of India.
This toy train has been accorded a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Even today, the same old steam engine takes you across the city on the crooked and winding roads passing through mountains, amidst beautiful views, valleys and tea gardens.
'Gum' station is the highest point on the route at an altitude of 7,404 ft. This is the highest railway station in Asia and the second-highest in the world.
Since childhood, I wanted to visit Darjeeling, then after watching the movie "Barfi", my desire to travel there became stronger. Then when I finally got there, I was most looking forward to the Toy Train Ride, and this experience was really fun :D
