La noche antes del concurso, Rosalinda colocó la tarta en su vitrina con un candado mágico que solo se abriría al amanecer. Pero cuando el sol comenzó a despuntar, la tarta había desaparecido, dejando atrás solo unas migajas doradas y un pueblo en estado de shock.
El alcalde de Dulcelandia, Don Pancho, convocó a una reunión de emergencia. “¡Debemos encontrar la tarta antes del concurso!”, exclamó. Así, todos los habitantes se pusieron en marcha para resolver el misterio de la tarta desaparecida.
Rosalinda estaba desconsolada, pero no se dio por vencida. Reunió a un grupo de valientes amigos: Pedro, el panadero; Lina, la chocolatera; y Tomás, el catador de dulces. Juntos, formaron el equipo de detectives más dulce de la historia.
El primer sospechoso fue el Señor Migas, un ratón conocido por su amor a las tartas y su habilidad para colarse en los lugares más inesperados. Sin embargo, después de una larga charla con él, descubrieron que Migas había estado toda la noche en una fiesta de queso y no podía ser el culpable.

Sin perder tiempo, la bruja pronunció unas palabras mágicas y, en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, el equipo se encontró en el corazón del bosque. Allí, rodeados de árboles de caramelo y ríos de chocolate, vieron la tarta flotando en el aire, custodiada por un grupo de hadas golosas.
“¡Es nuestra tarta de la suerte!”, gritaron las hadas al verlos. “Nos la envió el viento para que nos trajera fortuna”. Rosalinda les explicó la importancia de la tarta para el pueblo y, tras una negociación que incluyó la promesa de suministrar dulces al bosque durante un año, las hadas accedieron a devolver la tarta.
Con la tarta a salvo, el equipo regresó al pueblo justo a tiempo para el concurso. La “Gran Tarta de la Fortuna” no solo ganó el primer premio, sino que también trajo buena suerte a todos los habitantes de Dulcelandia, que vivieron felices y endulzados para siempre.

One day, Rosalinda prepared her most special cake for the annual Dulcelandia contest, the "Great Fortune Cake," decorated with exotic fruits and a frosting that shone like gold in the sun. The cake was not only famous for its taste, but also for containing a secret that promised good luck to whoever found it.
The night before the contest, Rosalinda placed the cake in its glass case with a magic lock that would only be opened at dawn. But when the sun began to rise, the cake had disappeared, leaving behind only golden crumbs and a town in shock.
Dulcelandia's mayor, Don Pancho, called an emergency meeting. "We must find the cake before the contest!" he exclaimed. So, all the inhabitants set out to solve the mystery of the missing cake.
Rosalinda was heartbroken, but she did not give up. She gathered a group of brave friends: Pedro, the baker; Lina, the chocolatier; and Tomás, the candy taster. Together, they formed the sweetest detective team in history.
The first suspect was Señor Migas, a mouse known for his love of pies and his ability to sneak into the most unexpected places. However, after a long talk with him, they discovered that Migas had been at a cheese party all night and could not be the culprit.
Next, they investigated Señora Glaseado, Rosalinda's rival in the contest. Although she was known to be envious, she had been busy baking her own cake that night and had a solid alibi.
The mystery deepened as time passed and the contest drew nearer. It was then that Tomás remembered something important: "The cake had a magic lock! Only someone with knowledge of magic could have opened it."
Following this clue, the team headed to the store of the Caramel Witch, the only person in town with knowledge of magic. Upon arrival, they found the witch laughing uproariously as she gazed into a crystal ball. "I knew it!" the witch exclaimed. "I knew you would come to me!"
The Caramel Witch explained to them that she had seen in her crystal ball how a magical wind had lifted the cake and carried it far away, into the Forest of Lost Sweets. "But don't worry," she said, "I can take you there with a spell."
Without wasting any time, the witch pronounced some magic words and, in the blink of an eye, the team found themselves in the heart of the forest. There, surrounded by candy trees and rivers of chocolate, they saw the cake floating in the air, guarded by a group of sweet-toothed fairies.
"It's our lucky cake!" the fairies shouted when they saw them. "It was sent to us by the wind to bring us fortune." Rosalinda explained to them the importance of the cake to the village and, after a negotiation that included a promise to supply the forest with sweets for a year, the fairies agreed to return the cake.
With the cake safe, the team returned to the village just in time for the contest. The "Big Fortune Cake" not only won first prize, but also brought good luck to all the inhabitants of Dulcelandia, who lived happily and sweetly ever after.!
