Hoy fue un día especial para mí, ya que tuve el privilegio de acompañar a mi hija a su proyecto escolar sobre volcanes. Desde hace semanas, hemos estado diseñando en la creación de una maqueta escolar que capturara la imponente belleza y el potencial peligro de estos gigantes de la naturaleza.

La emoción era palpable mientras nos dirigíamos hacia la escuela con nuestra creación cuidadosamente elaborada. Mi hija había pasado días practicando e investigando sobre volcanes, estudiando sus diferentes tipos, sus características y cómo se forman. Estaba impresionado por su dedicación y entusiasmo por aprender.

Nuestra maqueta era una representación detallada de un volcán en erupción. Utilizamos plastilina, papel crepe y pinturas al frio para dar vida a nuestro proyecto. Desde la base del volcán hasta la cima, cada detalle estaba cuidadosamente diseñado para reflejar la realidad. Para la erupción utilizamos bicarbonato de sodio, vinagre casero, colorante de repostería y gel.

También agregamos decoraciones entre ellos algunos dinosaurios y reptiles algunas piedras y arboles para adornar completamente nuestro poderoso volcán

Cuando llegamos a la escuela, nos recibió una sala llena de otras impresionantes maquetas y proyectos relacionados con la ciencia. Era evidente que todos los estudiantes habían dedicado mucho tiempo y esfuerzo a sus trabajos. La atmósfera estaba llena de anticipación y emoción mientras cada niño se preparaba para presentar su proyecto ante sus compañeros y profesores.

Cuando llegó el momento de la presentación, mi hija ella tomó el centro del escenario con confianza. Explicó cada aspecto de nuestra maqueta con claridad y seguridad, compartiendo los conocimientos que había adquirido durante el proceso. Estaba orgulloso de verla hablar con tanta seguridad y pasión sobre un tema que aprendió en los días de diseño de este volcán.

Después de la presentación, tuvimos la oportunidad de recorrer la sala y admirar los proyectos de los demás estudiantes. Fue inspirador ver la creatividad y el ingenio de cada uno de ellos, así como el arduo trabajo que habían puesto en sus creaciones.

Al final de la presentación, mientras regresábamos a casa, reflexioné sobre la experiencia que habíamos compartido. Fue más que solo un proyecto escolar; fue un momento de conexión y aprendizaje mutuo entre mi hija y yo. A través de este proyecto, no solo aprendimos sobre volcanes, sino que también fortalecimos nuestro vínculo como padre o mentor.

Hoy fue un día memorable lleno de aprendizaje, creatividad y orgullo parental. Estoy agradecido por la oportunidad de haber acompañado a mi hija en este trabajo y emocionado por las futuras creaciones que a lo largo de los años nos esperan juntos.

En la vida, hay momentos que pasan rápido y que nunca volverán. Uno de los más preciosos y fugaces es el tiempo en el que nuestros hijos están creciendo. Sin embargo, es crucial recordar que nuestros hijos crecen más rápido de lo que imaginamos. Cada día que pasa, están un poco más cerca de volar por sí mismos, de explorar el mundo por su cuenta.

Es en estos momentos de crecimiento cuando como padres debemos estar presentes de manera activa y consciente. No se trata solo de estar físicamente presentes, sino de ser presencialmente disponibles, de escuchar, de apoyar, de guiar. Nuestra influencia en sus vidas durante estos años puede marcar una diferencia duradera.

En última instancia, aprovechar el tiempo con nuestros hijos mientras están en crecimiento es una inversión en su futuro y en el nuestro. Los recuerdos que creamos juntos, las lecciones que compartimos y el amor que cultivamos perdurarán mucho después de que hayan crecido. Así que aprovechemos cada momento, cada abrazo, cada conversación. Porque ser parte de la vida de nuestros hijos es un regalo que nos enriquece a todos, y puede marcarlos de por vida en positivo.

Today was a special day for me, as I had the privilege of accompanying my daughter to her school project on volcanoes. For weeks now, we have been designing in creating a school model that would capture the awe-inspiring beauty and potential danger of these giants of nature.

The excitement was palpable as we headed to school with our carefully crafted creation. My daughter had spent days practicing and researching volcanoes, studying their different types, their characteristics and how they form. I was impressed by her dedication and enthusiasm for learning.

Our model was a detailed representation of an erupting volcano. We used plasticine, crepe paper and cold paints to bring our project to life. From the base of the volcano to the top, every detail was carefully designed to reflect reality. For the eruption we used baking soda, homemade vinegar, baking coloring and gel.

We also added decorations including some dinosaurs and reptiles, some rocks and trees to completely decorate our mighty volcano.

When we arrived at the school, we were greeted by a room full of other impressive science-related models and projects. It was evident that all of the students had put a lot of time and effort into their work. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and excitement as each child prepared to present their project to their classmates and teachers.

When it came time for the presentation, my daughter she confidently took center stage. She explained every aspect of our model with clarity and confidence, sharing the knowledge she had gained during the process. I was proud to see her speak so confidently and passionately about a subject she learned about during the design days of this volcano.

After the presentation, we had the opportunity to walk around the room and admire the other students' projects. It was inspiring to see the creativity and ingenuity of each of them, as well as the hard work they had put into their creations.

At the end of the presentation, as we drove home, I reflected on the experience we had shared. It was more than just a school project; it was a time of connection and mutual learning between my daughter and me. Through this project, we not only learned about volcanoes, but also strengthened our bond as a parent/mentor.

Today was a memorable day filled with learning, creativity and parental pride. I am grateful for the opportunity to have accompanied my daughter in this work and excited for the future creations that over the years await us together.

In life, there are moments that pass quickly and will never return. One of the most precious and fleeting is the time when our children are growing up. It is during these developmental years that we have the unique opportunity to influence their lives and be a part of their growth in a meaningful way.

Often, we find ourselves caught up in the work environment - the work, the responsibilities, the worries. However, it is crucial to remember that our children grow up faster than we imagine. The memories we create together, the lessons we share and the love we cultivate will last long after they are grown. So let's seize every moment, every hug, every conversation. Because being a part of our children's lives is a gift that enriches us all, and can positively mark them for life.
