How are you doing? Transportation is one of the basic needs in our day to day lives. From public transport to owning person vehicles we have come a long way since ancient times. Going back to the era when humans were just hunters and gatherers, we had only the option of traveling on foot. With time we humans learnt how to tame the animals and strated using riding animals. Horse riding 🐎 has been prominent as well as effective means of transportation since ancient times. Other animal rides were elephant 🐘, Camel🐪, Doneky, Bull 🐂 etc. However since these animals rides were accessible only to travel on the land. Humans have discovered sea travel and built ships and boats as means of water transportation.
The discovery of sea routes and water transportation lead to Cultural Exchange and eventually the world come to being into existence as we know of it today. Without sea transportation, we would have stayed or somewhere perished into natives areas only. The human history and civilizations owe a big gratitude to sea transportation. Sea transportation started global business, import and export. With time human have invented and discovered new ways of transportation. Motorbikes, Motor Cars came into existence. Then we had seen Rail Engines, Railways has been a major development into transportation of goods and people, it has been most economical way of transportation as well. But just like sea transportation, the history was again revolutionized with the invention of Airplane ✈️. What seemed only a imagination, and who would have actually thought to travel in the Air and travel around the world by Air in just few hours, all this was only a dream. But Air transportation has made this possible and nowadays one the best and loved means of travel especially for long journey. However with the advanced technology and science, further inclusion of Artificial Intelligence will lead to new age modes of transportation. Let's dive into some future modes of transportation.
I had been a big fan of science-fiction movies where fancy spaceships traveling across the gallaxy at hyperspeed making intergalactic travel just into few hours. That's something has always fascinated me. Hyperspeed spaceships may be the next big thing into space travelling. This may seem almost impossible but the same was said in the past about going into space, driverless cars, AI etc. And look how far we have come.
Drone cars or flying cars are the next future of cars we can definitely see. Although the modern era is focusing more or electrical, driverless and hybrid cars. The next breakthrough into automobile engineering could be flying cars. Just imagine how cool that gonna be. We have been growing up seeing flying vehicles from our sci-fi movies. If this movie makers can imagine and put into action the unrealistic technologies than there is always a slight chance to turn these imaginative technologies into reality as well.
Other interesting and also very essential mode of transportation of future is lightning poses. These podes traveling underground with supersonic speeds and can travel hours of distance by cars into just minutes. Underground transportation is already work into progress as this will solve the increasing problem of traffic and congestion.
Then last but the most idealistic travel option in the future might be teleportation. This we had already seen in many movies. Just imagine if science discovered the way to teleport human body form one place to another, this will gonna change everything we do in this world. Then there will be no need of conventional means of transport. Unrealistic i may sound but that might be true some day. Then as is said necessity is mother of invention. With time science and technology will keep innovating and developing. Till then just travel through the wide range of transportation means available.
